A beautiful modern palace…
A beautiful girl entered her room.She is Princess Mandakini.
She closed the door of her room.
Suddenly she saw a young man in her room.She was shocked to see him.He also panicked seeing her all of a sudden.She was about to scream.But the young man closed her mouth with his palm.
He:Please don’t scream and call people.I am not here to harm you.Please believe me.
She removed his hand off her lips.
Mandakini:Then why are you here?
He:I..I…Mandy..I…
Suddenly Mandakni became emotional.
Mandakni:You called me Mandy?This is how my late parents used to call me.
He did not know how to react.
He:I….
Mandakni:But tell me who are you.Why are you here?
He:I am Shravan.I have seen you many times.
Mandakni:But why are you in my room?
Shravan:Actually since a long time I have been loving you silently.
Mandakni was stunned:What?
Shravan:You may be thinking that it’s infatuation which every man feels for a Princess.But I really love you.I suppressed my emotions.But I could not do it anymore.So I came to your room to see you secretly.Because if others see me,they will kill me.
Mandakni was shocked.
Mandakni:Really you love me?

Mandakni became emotional.
Shravan:I know that a Princess like you cannot love a common man like me.But it’s ok.I will not threaten you to love me.You can believe me.But I can love you.Right?
Mandakni was touched by his words.
Shravan:Now let me go.
Mandakni:Ya.But can I ask you something?How did you manage to enter my room?
Shravan:I came here through the balcony.
Mandakni:But how did you enter the palace compound ?I mean how come the guards did not see you?
Suddenly she heard somebody’s footsteps.
Shravan got tensed and whispered:See you Mandy.Let me leave now.
He got out through the balcony.
Somebody knocked at the door.
“Mandakni!”
Mandakni opened the door.
A middle aged man was standing there.He was Inder Kumar who was Mabdakni’s late father’s brother as well as Mandakni’s guardian.
Inder:Are you alright?
Mandakni:Yes chachu.Why?
Inder:I felt that somebody was here.
Mandakni sweated.
Mandakni:No chachu.You simply felt so.
Inder:Ok beta.Good night.
Mandakni:Good night.
Inder left.
Mandakni thought:Why did I try to save Shravan from chachu?Whenever somebody was after me with stupid love proposal ,I complained to chachu and chachu punished them.But why I hid about Shravan from chachu?
Mandakni thought about Shravan love confession and unknowingly a smile appeared on her face.
Days passed….
Mandakni started missing Shravan.
Mandakni:I saw him only once.Still I am longing to see him.I wish I could see him.But guess he will never come to see me as I didn’t give him any hope.
Mandakni went to a mall.
Shravan was also there.Seeing her he walked away and hid in the males clothes section.
Suddenly somebody touched his shoulder.He turned back.He was stunned to see Mandakni.
Shravan:You?
Mandakni:Yes.I saw you.But you walked away.I guess you walked away as you were scared whether I will get you arrested for coming into my room at night.
Shravan was embarrassed.
Shravan:To be frank yes.But how did you understand what I was thinking in my mind?Because you don’t know me at all.
Mandakni smiled:I don’t know.May be because we have some connection.
Shravan was stunned:Connection?
Mandakni smiled.
She thought:May be our hearts are connected.
Mandakni:I followed you as I wanted to tell you that I am not angry with you and you don’t have to be scared.
Shravan smiled.
Mandakni:Can I get your phone number?
Shravan was again shocked.
Shravan:What?
Mandakni:You heard it right.I want your phone number.
Shravan:But why?
Mandakni:Usually why do you take other’s phone numbers?
Shravan:To talk.
Mandakni:Even I took your phone number to talk to you.
Shravan was surprised.
Mandakni:Now will you give me your number?
Shravan smiled.
He gave her his phone number.She took his phone and did something.
Shravan:What are you doing?
Mandakni:I saved my number in your phone.
Shravan was again surprised.She returned him the phone.
Mandakni stood near him with the phone camera on.
Mandakni:Now smile.
Shravan became nervous:But what is the need of it?
Mandakni:Don’t worry.I will not show this photograph to anyone.
He was relieved.
They both posed for the selfie with a smile.
She clicked their selfie.
Mandakni:Bye.
She walked away.
Shravan kept looking at her.She turned back and smiled at him.He also smiled at him.
Mandakni was looking at their selfie and smiling.She rang up Shravan.
Mandakni:Hi Shravan!
Shravan was unable to believe that Mandakni rang him up.
Shravan:Mandy!
Mandakni:Why did’nt you call me?I was expecting your call.I know that you were nervous to call me.But don’t be nervous.Be free with me.
Shravan asked her in disbelief:Really?
Mandakni:Yes.By the way what do you do Shravan?
Shravan:I have a small toy shop.
Mandakni:Toy shop?That’s amazing.
He smiled.
They kept chatting.
Mandakni:Shravan,shall we plan our first date?
He was absolutely shocked:Date?Do you know what you are saying?
Mandakni:Yes.
Shravani:I am lower middle class boy and you are a Princess.How can a Princess go on a date with ordinary guy?
Mandakni:Because by heart I am an ordinary girl who prefers to live a simple life.
He smiled.
He thought:She is so innocent.
Mandakni:Come to Blue star restaurant.Let our first date be there.

Shravan-Mandakni met at the restaurant.

She held his hand.He smiled at her.
They shared an eye lock.
They enjoyed eating food and chatted.
After some days…
Shravan came to the place Mandakni called him.
Flower petals fell over them.
Shravan-Mandakni smiled enjoying it.

Shravan:Beautiful.I loved it.
Mandakni:But the real surprise is coming up.You will love it.
Shravan:Again a surprise?Wow.What is the surprise.
She cupped his face looking at his eyes intensely.

He became dull.

Mandakni:I don’t care about your background.But after my parents left I really felt alone.Though my chachu loves me a lot I felt that something was missing in my life.Then I met you.You are the only person who called me Mandy apart from my parents.That touched my heart and that moment I felt that you are my own.As I came closer to you I realized that I also love you just like you love me.
She held his hand:I really love you Shravan.I mean it.
Shravan was stunned.He became emotional.

They met another day.
Mandakni stood near Shravan.He became nervous.
She thought:He is so scared.I have to make him comfortable.
She leaned against his back.He was frozen with a dull face.

Mandakni moved closer to his cheek to kiss him.

He smiled slightly.

Mandakni surprised Shravan with movie tickets.
Shravan:Wow..I love watching movies.

They sat together in the theatre.In darkness she cuddled closer to him.Unknowingly he blushed.

After a few days somehow Shravan managed to get the courage to tell the truth to Mandakni.
Shravan:Mandy…I want to tell you something.
Mandakni:About what?
Shravan:About myself.Whatever I told you were pure lies.What I am going to tell you is the truth.I have a big secret.
