Why salman so protective towards sooraj Pancholi ?

Sooraj Pancholi is son of Aditya Pancholi then why salman is protective about sooraj.

In Jiah khan case , salman has a role in saving sooraj Pancholi.

He launched him in hero film

On his birthday party fight b/w ssr & sooraj he supported sooraj & threatened ssr 2 destroy his career .

I want to ask the same question to Kangana. Why did she supported Sooraj in Jiah Khan suicide? Did she took the role of step mom seriously that time. Kangana has never said anything negative about him. Salman likes his father Aditya a lot. They are good friends.
