@ bold : The arm wrestling was a symbolism to the precap where he is going to confess because yes he can't shove away his feelings in order to be best friends forever with her.

Sumo didn't see the facade but Bunty did because Shravan was more open with him and the hurt was literally on his face but with Sumo, no he wasn't himself but pretending to be one because her happiness matter. We can't really compare the friendship of Shrunty and Suvan here. Suman has never explored this attachment to any of her best friends because she knows that Shravan is better at it. "Tum rishte nibhaana jaante ho". We can also see that Shravan and Bunty has spent more time compared to Suvan and hence their bond is stronger. Bunty has seen Shravan's tantrums, his sadness, his feelings getting developed for Sumo. But has Sumo seen those ? No. She has only seen the kind of heart Shravan has. She has seen the showoff Shravan getting evolved as a person and realizing herself that he's always been a great friend and son.

One of my teachers in school got in the conversation about good friend and best friend. He said a best friend will always have your back and will go along with whatever you go with because of the bond you share. And a good friend might not do that always. He/she makes you evolve as a person rather than going along with you on everything. Guess this is what Shrunty and Suvan's equation are. Yes, Bunty always tries to put Shravan on his ground whenever he goes overboard with his expectations around Sumo. But Suman has managed to bring out the different side of Shravan. The less showoff, the more humble, the more of a side which was always there deep inside but wasn't in open.

Hence, Sumo and Shravan does not share the best friends forever friendship which they claim. They share a whole different side. Yes, had they been childhood friends, the equation would have been same as Shrunty but here, it's one sided love and friendship mingling together and still being best friends.

I am not at all expecting her to feel the same for Shravan, but I wish she had handled this in a better way. Her convo with Kancha, juxtaposed with Shravan- Bunty convo made it worse. If she handled it perfectly, she would have atleast not lied to Kancha. Right now she is not being truthful even to herself.

Looking forward to see how they evolve Sumo from here, I have really liked how she is different from the regular FLs . Hope they maintain that uniqueness!!

No worries yaar.....I totally understand time restrictions happen....good to catch up whenever you are able to watch :)

@bold: That sums it up aptly....Sumo represses a lot of of her emotions and she's become used to lying to herself in some ways too....especially when the topic is Shravan. So yes, she does need to learn to be truthful to herself in that sense.

This I also agree with. Sumo-Shravan may be calling each other BFFs but they still don't know each other well enough to truly be that close friends. This is why I liken them to kids....they are like two kids who DECLARE their friendship even before they understand what friendship is😆.

Bunty-Shravan's friendship is also different because they are kind of like two guys who grew up together and have shared so much of their life growing up....they are more like brothers than friends at this point.

With Sumo-Shravan, they are evolving friends....they WANT to be each other's best friends, always be there for each other...but that is a work in progress right now, not a stage they've already reached. And ofcourse, from Shravan's side, he wants even more than that....he not only wants to be the best friend she shares everything with, he also wants the kind of love that Sumo talks about, and he wants it only with her.

Basically, there is still a LOT that Sumo-Shravan need to learn about each other....they both hide aspects of themselves from each other....they need to be fully upfront and more honest with each other to fully get to know each other.

@ Bold : I agree. Sumo not being totally upfront in the friendzone matter and Shravan not being honest enough if he really wants the friendship, this needs to be evolved

I feel that will happen sooner. Devraj and Vijay situation seems to be really going to blow out of proportion. Before that happens, SS story has to move before they break up.

I just have this dreadful feeling all relationships in the show will be broken because of the fall out. Even the families😒.

I actually feel that Devraj-Vijay will reunite again briefly....mainly cuz the wives are noticing that both their husbands are upset and Anjali may finally speak up about what BB did.

The tearing apart may happen later again in conjunction with SS ka breakup. Ofcourse all relationships will take a hit in the fallout....that is the basic premise for the angst or there wouldn't be such a big breakup.

I hope they do, but Anjali seems to be trapped right now. Vijay holds his dad on a pedestal, he can’t even imagine his dad doing anything wrong. So she has to choose between breaking that image for him or saving a very deep friendship. And that stupid chachu is not helping matters😵
