I like that about Riddhima - Page 2

Bang on...Riddhima is absolutely right in her stance against Vansh as of now if we think from her POV...She believes Vansh is a threat to national security & she's doing a noble job by being on this mission.

As far as her spying skills are concerned, she is not at all trained so obviously she'll do blunders in her desperation to collect proofs against Vansh & return back to Kabir..In fact I remember Kabir telling her he needs someone, who has remotely no connections with police & agents, to go on this mission...He has some big agenda behind all this.

The only flaw in Riddhima is her love for Kabir which is her biggest weakness to the extent that it clouds her sense of self respect & rationality..The reason is probably her being an orphan since she gained consciousness & her craving for a family which she had finally got in Kabir...She'll snap out of it with time & as she gets closer to the truth.

I love how only RiAnsh can bring each other's raw selves out...Riddhima is always this strong, badass woman whenever confronting Vansh & the latter expresses those emotions embedded deep inside of him only when Ridhu instigates him.

The OTT criticism of Riddhima, when she's the one who is suffering the most in all this, was keeping me off this forum...Loved this post👍🏼You said everything I wanted to say.

Even I wanted to say this for a long time, finally had to make a post on it.

I too felt the same about Riddhima that because she is an orphan, never had a permanent person in her life, so it's obvious that she would do anything for kabir because she could not bear to lose him as he is the only one who makes her feel at home. And maybe that's the reason why Kabir chose her.

And her constant monologue that after compeleting this mission, i will go back to my world, to be with my kabir...

And she did teej pooja to be successful in her task, indirectly praying for kabir's success.

While watching the show, I became so involved for those 20 minutes that i actually hate such scenes where riddhima became all so lovey dovey while thinking of kabir,😡 it makes me bitter🤢 (i know its not healthy). And i would literally shout at the tv that please Riddhima stop thinking about that inspector, pls look at that hottie☺️ standing beside you, but all in vain, she never listens to me.😒.

But then it made me think that if it had been a real life situation, riddhima or any girl would have the same feelings and thoughts. The girl who was forced to marry a rude and supposedly criminal person, would not want to stay and make that relation work. If she had a chance she would take that in an instant to free herself from his prison, where she is not allowed to call anyone, where everyone keeps an eye on her.

Of course thats obvious no girl would sacrifice herself for her lover, would never allow harself to marry someone whom she doesnt like. But thats the only flaw I can find in Riddhima..

And another thing that many are saying that how she behave so rudely and can be such hypocrite sometimes, lecturing vansh on relations, trust and honesty whereas she herself is keeping secrets from him and trying to collect evidences against him. But thats HER job, thats why she sacrificed so much, she had to be a perfect figure infront of him and she also does all this just to instigate him so that he will slip and that can be used against him..

So after this and much much more thinking🤓 i realised that yes Riddhima is not wrong, just my love for Riansh❤️ and vansh☺️ are making me biased,

P.S. sorry for this rant, i wasnt able to get this out of my head so had to make this post. But please give your views on this.. 🥳

I had written about this same issue myself a few days back albeit in a different manner.There were some people on this forum who made random posts critical of Ridzi without taking her POV into account even though she might be a fictional character.Good to see that you realized the same.

I had written that "Admiration/Adulation cannot be an excuse for the criminal acts done by grey characters".I like VR's character much more than Kabir.He exudes confidence & has an aura of incredible presence around him.But his bad acts cannot be condoned whether its Neha's murder & now the latest Ragini's Dad also got murdered.So how would Ridzi fall in love with such a cruel person/mafia boss/murderer?

On the comparisons between Deep & VR its being said that Deep became negative much later whereas VR is already negative on the path to his redemption which goes through Ridzi.Is Ridzi required for VR to redeem himself? Can't Vansh do that himself?

The guy throws knives at his wife right after their wedding night & makes indirect death threats to her & he is supposed to fall in love with her.Did Arnav or Shivaay make indirect or direct death threats to their wives/lovers Khushi & Anika?

Being the Cold-Blooded Mafia Boss such kind of psychotic behaviours are expected from him but then why is Ridzi faulted for her counter-reactions? Taali Ek Haath se Kabhi nahi bajti.👏👏👏

I had said it before I will repeat it again that just like other serials its in Ridzi's hand to change her mate but VR has to accept that change within himself first.I had seen momentary concern in his eyes whenever Ridzi got hurt but these are all temporary actions from the Mafia.VR might have concern for his wife but he does not give a damn about her feelings.VR has to start showing extra care for her be more sensitive to her reactions if he has any genuine feelings for her.

VR & Ridzi has got bound by destiny due to VR's own actions & Ridzi's foolishness on not escaping the VR mansion when she had the chance.And VR has given enough indications to her that her life is on the line 24/7 due to her spy activities yet Ridzi has failed to take that threat seriously.

VR is completely heartless.This is not some Beauty & the Beast Drama.He's Devil personified there's a reason why other family members both fear & respect him at the same time.

Arohi's entry did not change Deep's basic personality & I don't think Ridzi's entry would do the same.

Yes Kabir is a selfish character but right now he's the only one for her.His words give her the strength to carry on her spying activities inside the dreaded VR Mansion.VR's words have only suspicion behind them.

Off late, a lot of people are becoming too critical of Riddhima, but the truth is...she has NO reason to not trust Kabir so far.

Except sending her for a dangerous mission (which Riddhima is justifying in her head as patriotism), Kabir has been nothing but nice with her. He even asked her to quit a few times, but she held on.

On the other hand, Vansh is not exactly being the "good husband" with her. He didnt molest her yet, but he is always after her.

She is not allowed to use phones, she cant have friends, she is not allowed to ask questions, she is not allowed to roam everywhere in her own house. Because of all these reasons, she is feeling suffocated with Vansh, even though, he is actually being a gentleman with her in many ways.

I am a Riansh shipper but my fandom is purely because Vansh is hot. 😆 I am basically in love with Rrahul Sudhir's personality and Vansh's dark s*xiness.

But if we take off our Riansh spectacles for once, then we'd realize that any other untrained girl in Riddhima's place would dislike a man like Vansh. As a husband, the guy is scary.

Agreed completely.

As much as I dislike the man-handling by Gul heroes, gotta admit, they were normal humans with normal shades. For instance, at home Shivaay was a fun-loving guy, cooking for his family, teasing his brothers, etc. As a businessman, he was cold n ruthless.

But Vansh is out and out cold. He is caring for his dadi and sister, but the guy NEVER smiles. His face is always stoic, his attitude is always threatening, no matter who he is with.

I would love to see his character grow. Dont want him to become mahaan but the guy needs to exhibit more shades and smile more often.

At this point, he is just attracted to Riddhima, but would love to see that transform to love.

I’ve read a couple of your posts and they are well written and very accurate. I have questioned Riddhima’s common sense and intelligence but she’s being written that way for a reason. There has to be a catalyst for the change to come in her; a reason why her love for Kabir can turn into something else; possibly hate.

I wouldn’t wish the character of VR on any woman. At this point, he’s a reclamation project.

The feminist in me would love such an ending, but my other Riansh/Rrahul-loving self would be really upset. Vansh at this point is problematic, but like I once said...rooting for characters like him, especially with a hot actor is like guilty pleasure. 😆

So, I'd like the CVs to handle Vansh cleverly. Make him worth loving and yet not change his characteristic greyness which is his USP.
