Underlined - Probably this might be true. But then I have a question. If that was the case, why did EK rope in reputed and senior actors like KSG & KP for this role? These 2 reasons is enough to show that her intention was never to immortalise AnuPre.

There’s no insult, it’s business to get good actors, get eyeballs. It’s like getting cameos or actors in movie who completely overshadow the main course. One unrelated example could be Sunny Deol from Damini. So, simple, the plot is to get Anupre immortalised. It’s the dream for EK. This show is recreated for this sole reason.

The concept is in place but the problem is no story line execution properly. Full stop. Anupre is thanda, foolish to be precise. PreRish exists without any storytelling. So, in short it’s a mess.


Bajaj is a legacy, so is Komo from OG. Anupre was tried to be immortalised this Season. No one is happy, neither Anupre Fans nor Anupre. Anurag looks like a dumbhead, Prerna-bird brained and Bajaj -he is just there in the background!

I have heard all along that Bajaj and bapre will be THE story of s2. Now I guess that was never the plan. 🤔

Anyway, in the absence of anyone from the channel or PH saying who is audiences favorite, I would continue to believe the myth that Bajaj and bapre was soundly rejected by the audience which is why the makers keep attempting to sell them, face the music and then are forced to fall back to anupre. Which is why anurag and prerna have been repeatedly butchered and made to do and say the lamest things. And which is why the writer of the show had said that they were forced to show random things and "filler" tracks in the absence of their ML.

One thing I agree though is even I cannot wait for Bajaj to show his true colors and unleash himself on Anurag. Atleast that will give this ever so boring charactet some life. Because right now, he is as interesting as the broken tape recorder he sounds like.

This season was ruled by Anupre and story was from anurags POV the moment bajaj enetered anurag character arc changed he went for fight back...

As per the original concept put up on starplus hotstar its anupre cross starred lovers who will fight therir kasautis and unite?

With a biggest question mark

Budda bajaj or komo or mishka or mohini or veena are just kasautis in their life

Which these two will fight against to unite

Yesterdays episode was evident prerna told she will defeat anurag by iss kasauti zindagi ko paar karke...

She is gonna unmask anurags wall soonnn...

Agree with you fully. The reason why she decided to make a reboot is because last time she couldn't do what she wanted to do, just because of popularity of bajaj character all thanks to Ronit Roy.

But atleast even then their was a story, progress in characters even of anuprerna. But this season it's a disaster to say the least.

I'm always confused seeing this season, who is more dumb and stupid?

The relationship lack everything except for dialogue baazi that both of them love each other and can go to any extent to protect each other.

They have zero communication, which is a basic thing required in any relationship. Hide all important issues related to each other in the name of Kasautiis,

Do stupid stuffs in the name of sacrifice.

I can still give them benifit of doubt be his marriage to komo or her marriage to Bajaj.

But what is this?

Throwing her from bridge because he wants to protect her? I don't think any male lead in the history of ITV is shown so dump in the name of sacrifice.

He has no idea where his daughter is now.

He had atleast 10 other options to save his love as well as their daughter.

I feel sorry for sneha more than her parents. She don't deserve such a pathetic parents.

Even if today all three of them reunite, can they bring back those 8 years of sneha, who was away from her parents and had to stay in an orphanage due to the stupidity of so called her parents? (more responsibile was anurag because it was his plan)

The answer is Noooooooooo.

The question is not about komo or Bajaj.

And the biggest disappointment this season is, after they confessed love to each other, they don't have any story to show, so in the name of sacrifice and all they show all stupid things.

Unfortunately s1 was more progressive in every regard compared to s2 though it also had nth loopholes but frankly now it appears like much much better in comparison to this season.

BaPre track failed ?🤪 When was there a BaPre track in the first place ? When the "news" came in, that the focus will be on BaPre , there was another "news" from "confirmed sources" that someone is "insecure" n has put down his papers as in resignation.. and what we know , next week anupre uniting promo was there 🤪 I know there are lots of speculations here and none confirmed so ppl can ignore my msg... No am I hungry for any "xpre" , I care a damn, but this is how i saw events unfold in the past few days.

I disagree with this , Simply because had this been the case then Rishabh Bajaj wouldn’t have been turned into Krish overnight 😆.

If they had plan to immortalise AnuPre they wouldn’t have dropped the whole track of Bajaj-Basu history overnight .

They wouldn’t have ever tired establish BaPre by making Prerna Go soft and forget what her Blackmailer did her .
and probably( this is assumption ) He wouldn’t have been a disgusting Father that he has been turned into now .

Bajaj and BaPre got rejected .....The overnight Krish roop was to wrap up the track , the character and the track was so badly rejected that they didn’t even bothered to give closure Bajaj’s history and they still have not revisited that even .

They promoted Bajaj as Parallel Lead and tried their best to make BaPre the IT couple .... but viewers never accepted them .... Bajaj was given everything to massage his ego .... all characters ( including leads ) were made to look dumb in front of him , he got special dialogue writers , he got best treatment , but yes when realised he is not giving that same special returns They had to make him do out of character things to make him temp exit .

I wish they had a plan from start to keep AnuPre immortalise this way Bajaj would have got a proper character graph from the start and wouldn’t have been tuned into this half baked character and wouldn’t have been made to do foolish things and more then that Leads wouldn’t have been made to do foolish things to accommodate Bajaj in their story .
This way Bajaj wouldn’t have been this Boring character that he is now , I Atleast would have got interested in knowing his story rather then waiting to get done with his scene 😆

They wouldn’t have ever tired establish BaPre by making Prerna Go soft and forget what her Blackmailer did her . i commented on this on my other post & i hope you don't mind me repeating it. i disagree with this. they never tried to establish PreRish or BapRe because if they had they wouldn't have lumped them all together in the 'ek chaat' fiasco. you can't promote a different couple by having the original boyfriend/lover in the same scenes as well (hope that makes sense) yes they gave scenes for both fandoms simply as lollipops to attract the fans & keep them watching. also the TRP's during that time were not vastly different from what they're usually are so i don't think that rejection really comes into it. the simple reason is that audiences easily accept 2 women fighting for 1 man then the other way around, that's why the trio of Anu, Pre & Kom could earn higher TRP's.

They love to emphasise them as 'made for each other & soulmates' but didn't give them a strong foundation to build on. They don't have any trust, respect or communication between them. Bajaj & Komolika & any other Kausauti should have made them stronger not weaker or stupider. That's the real SAD thing.

Actually this time Bajaj character is a half backed one. I think the KZK2 CVS actually doesn't know what to do with Bajaj character. I actually liked the Bajaj before lockdown and Bajaj 1 track more because atleast the older Bajaj eventhough having 30 second SS used to say different dialogues and I also felt that he was a triangle in Anupre's lovestory. But this new Bajaj only repeats the dialogues "Prena app strong hai" and

"Main appko kho nahi sakta" or is seen standing in a corner👍🏼

This new Bajaj rather than being a kasauti in Anupre's story I feel is a side character (no offence to anyone I was just stating my opinion). The real triangle in Anupre's story I feel is Komolika rather than the new Bajaj😊

I think it's high time the kzk2 CVS should decide what they want to do with Bajaj character. KZK2 CVS should now give a good storyline for Bajaj character like they could show the connection between Bajaj-Basu which was not shown in Bajaj track 1 and also the reason behind Kuki and Bajaj strained relation. They could show so many interesting storyline with Bajaj character like Nivi-Bajaj track by bringing Anupam back to the show, Bajaj having problem with Kuki-Kaushik lovestory, Bajaj becoming a real kasauti in Anupre's lovestory etc👍🏼

Bold - They had a proper storyline executed till the end of Komo1 track, though with few last moment inclusions like hut kaand, Vikrant track etc. But still the execution was not that bad. Even introduction of Bajaj was superb, I still remember how i used to make posts daily on Bajaj's actions and appreciating KSG's acting like that of a cool calm panther. But, unfortunately the breaking of the dhaga which was believed to have Durga maa's blessing with it citing a foolish reason did all the damage. Because, that caused a biggest chunk of AnuPre lovers to quit the show. And breaking of the dhaga itself is the biggest reason to believe that EK never had the plan to immortalise AnuPre.

Having said that, I would request everyone to be careful not to deviate from the topic and make this an AnuPre vs PreRish thread.

The Ek chat track they brought because they wanted to keep both fandoms glued after realising that their Swiss adventure did not grabbed enough eyeballs .
The wanted to keep AnuPre fan hanging so that juts in case BaPre fails AnuPre fans should not be lost (you see back up ) .... Though yes story has been about AnuPre they’ll be there but they did not wnated to loose on the AnuPre viewers but parallel-ly establish BaPre . Sadly VaPre could never get it own audience and AnuPre fandom too had started leaving .

Viewers this season do not want Male in Pre’s life , they are fine with Komo as she is certified negative and they were fine with NB as well and hence both those tracks Most loved as viewers knew AnuPre are together in this .
I feel had they introduced Bajaj as a Negative force Bajaj track would also have got accepted as Loved , but they never wanted Bajaj as Negative ( or to say immortalise AnuPre) and viewers did not wanted to see any pair Other than AnuPre ....

That’s because Komo and Bajaj themselves are weak characters and hence need AnuPre to be turned dumb and do silly sacrifice so that both Komo and Bajaj could appear as Big Kasautiis .

The only character who kept AnuPre essence is NB , he did not needed to make AnuPre so silly things , he established himself and hence he stilll remains most Loved Kasautii .
