i have two new theories - Page 6

I was watching KDB from the very beginning today. I am on episode#7 😄 I don't know how much patience and free time I have but I am going to refresh my memory.

I did not pay much attention to the first episodes when I watched it for the first time. Because then it was just a spin off of KKB and I watched it out of curiosity. I couldn't imagine that I would quit KKB and would like to watch KDB instead😆

So I noticed a thing today. In the first episode Preeta is talking that she doesn't dream about Prince Charming with a big car who meets her and takes her away. That is exactly what happened in the episode#3😆

And even if they declared the show as a love triangle there is a big difference from the very beginning between the way they showed both brothers. The difference between the introduction of them. Karan as a star and hero. Rishabh as just a brother of a hero.

The way Preeta reacted to them. Karan gets to her nerves immediately. She is very emotional about Karan from the first meeting. They have a song.

And she hardly reacted to Rishabh when they met. On contrary, Rishabh was mesmerized by Preeta.

I never noticed it. It is really interesting and fun to rewatch the show when you know what it will be for 3 years ahead 😄

So what I want to say that now I don't think that Preeta will fall in love with Rishabh. Karan is her destiny and her love. Even if he is not perfect and doesn't look like Prince Charming at all😆 Even if he is quite questionable character. Still she will be with him no matter what.

Karan will definitely push Preeta to Rishabh. As we all remember those his dialogues on Rishabh's wedding day. And he may even succeed. But Preeta will be back to Karan anyways.

I believe love triangle will be like: Karan loves Preeta, Preeta loves Karan, Rishabh loves Preeta. Triangle will exist only as a sacrifice as a part of redemption.

That is what I feel today while watching. I'll try to rewatch all the show. I am sure there are a lot of things to discover 😁

P.S. Dadi toh was always like this! She tried to frame the doctor and tried to make Preeta as her partner in crime🤣 How could we think that she is good when she is vicious from the day one!

Still the story too seems to be different and it should be better considering its a recycle of old one but no. Nagpal has completely destroyed😆.

basic theme is given by ekta. nagpal writes story according to that. i guess ekta should have tried something new. also cast could have been better.

in every love triangle there is only one male lead and one female lead. the 3rd angle is always a parallel lead.

karan was introduced as hero..... ok fine

and rishabh as his brother...... so whats problem in that.

no one is denying here that karan is the lead of the show. and rishabh his brother is a parallel lead.

i dont understand whats problem in that.

why cant a female lead fall in love with a parallel lead? whats new in that? it has happened in countless shows.

karan gets the title and screenspace of a male lead. and thats all about it.

i recommend u to watch a few of ekta's successful love triangles. u will get an idea how it works. its not an odd thing for female lead to fall in love with or get married to a parallel lead in her shows.

this glorious downfall of karan luthra will have its consequences. preeta will be with him all the time but she wont be his.

remember sarla's shraap "til til k maray ga wo" 😳 he wont be spared 🤨

so preeta and karan are married to eachother and they will fall in love with eachother. rishabh's one sided feelings will remain burried in his heart and he will die with those feelings.

preeta has faced a lot of hardships and humiliation. the man who will get her love is the one who deserves it the most.

The cast of kzk2 are honestly doing wonders with the crap given to them. Sure, Erica isn't the strong choice. But parth made anurag look so bearable and most anupre fans are mostly actually fans of anurag and most prerish fans are mostly fans of Rishab bajaj because he was apparently a great character in season 1. So when it initially came,the concept was simple but due to actors they managed and had decent trps. And then the writer ruined the writing, plotline, consistency and everything that now it's just random lolipop episodes for both ships and it's pretty biased. So the basic theme and cast weren't the problem as even if Erica(could also be because in kzk it was shweta tiwari so expectations are high) wasn't the best they have amazing actors in general like Hina Khan/aamna sheriff, Pooja banerjee etc.

Similar thing is happening with kkb actually, the theme was something and then they diverted completely and then they had multiple leaps and the one thing that was sort of consistent was the backstory behind why Aliya hated pragya and now they messed that up as well and made it seem like it was because she was worried about property sharing and now wants to ruin her other niece's life actively with full conscious. In both these shows, after a point there was just no reason for negativity so they made the plot so dumb just with drama to keep it going.

In that way,from the current ekta shows that's going,I guess only kdb has decent writing and somewhat sticks to their plotline and isn't very inconsistent till now. But I doubt they'd maintain it this way after a point. The concept here again is pretty cliche same with kkb amd kzk2. Concept wise ekta did an amazing job in her new venture pavitra bhagya which talks about how women are seen when they have kids out of wedlock but the men are never questioned, the plot is very strong and necessary but the writing is so bad and very very inconsistent which is why bad trps. And ekta always chooses amazing actors as her cast that's her special thing. She introduces amazing talents which is why we as an audience after a point even if the story is too regressive for women like in kdb, we still watch it because of the performance by disconnecting ourselves so we don't get influenced by it and then there reaches a point when the writing is so crap that even amazing performances can't save it.

And also,so far only kdb has done a good job in keeping both the ships sailing equally. In kzk2 it's clearly biased and in kkb the two ships are abhigya and pranbir. Abhigya fans have been pissed off since the second generation started and they still haven't had a meeting so they no longer bother and pranbir fans are getting super annoyed with the way things are going so even they are starting to ignore so there are fans of these ships but they have given up on the show to even watch. So in all aspects kdb got lucky. And hope they keep it atleast a little sensible throughout.

Ah! The difference in perspective! So interesting to read, this is what makes the forum so great! Because the moment I saw Preeta describe her life partner it seemed obvious that love was a seperate catagory and trust with respect was the other catagory. As in it was always going to be an either or situation. Especially within her context of marriage.

The balloon scene seemed so much meaningful after one stops considering it a balloon and actually her heart/love. It went to Karan, he didn't appreciate it and gave it back, then it went to Rishabh he kept it to himself.

And then the intersex person came along and the fate seemed sealed! Aka, the marriages 🤣.

I guess it's the other way round maybe? She might fall in love with Karan but can't respect him while her respect remains only for Rishab. And she herself said in the beginning that even without love it'll be fine but without respect there can be no relationship or marriage. So maybe she won't fall in love with Rishab but due to fact that she respects him and he loves and respects her immensely and if there's a rishta track then she might go for it for these reasons
