At least she isn't outrightly defending this show. I don't agree with many of her points but then don't waste your precious energy on these posts. They just want Sumelika scenes and they are getting it. Iss ne Rukmini maata bol diya,yahin aascharyachakit kar dene wali baat hai.

Can't say much about ISKCON but in popular belief ,Krishna having a gf seemed exotic to then practitioners and also generated a certain amount of curiosity. They couldn't have achieved the same with Krishna as Dwarikadheesh frolicking around with his wife/wives hence Radha was cherry picked.

Swastik people could have done wonders by simply sticking to the popular folktales and simple imaginations. They stretched this way too much. Giving this show a subtle closure after Kansvadh was the only possible way for them to not drag Krishna's marital life. They put those typical saheli sautan mirch masala and ruined this delicate balance between Radha and Rukmini. Rukmini never went to Barsana let alone drowning in Yamuna and performing a pinga+dola re rip off dance battle against Radha.

I'm glad that they actually haven't had Balram around much recently when he doesn't have much of a role to play at the moment - this is much better than the alternative of him being around just to be made fun of and disrespected! 😕 Here's hoping that Balram will be around for the Mahabharat-related parts that he does have a larger role in, and will be afforded at least some teeny-tiny degree of basic human dignity!
