Shikha did not quit, she wasn't informed about replacement!

Just read IF article where shikha wasn't informed by production house regarding replacement. Such crappy move!

So unprofessional and why would they do this to someone who gave 6 years of her life to the show? The least they could have done is to inform her.

Yes! As far as I know Shikha was quite professional and never let her work get affected. They could have easily waited , maternity leave is a concept ; and kumkumbhagya has the least logical script surviving because of good will of its lead actors, if it was so difficult atleast give some respect to the actor by telling them first.

Saw bits of the episode. I will take lots,lots & lots of effort by this person to fill in shikha's shoes.

I can only see Shikha as Aaliya, at least for now. I watch the "Lockdown ke kisse" and I can't get myself to accept Rehyna Malhotra as Aaliya, lol. It'll take time. Maybe Shikha will come back to the show later though? There's still hope I guess.

It is not that shikha couldn't be replaced but they could have given her some information regarding getting the same and atleast taken someone who could act, instead of any random actor.

This one has blunt expressions, just mouthing dialogue doesn't make one an actor.

That weird thing she did with hand to signal two infront of the camera, looked so out of character as well as place.

Wish the new aliya had some comic timing, she is so wooden! I saw her in one scene where vikram was there to get abhi out, she didn't seem to be present ,even though she was there.
