After a long time today, an episode inspired me to make a post.
I'm all heart for the anuprepie scene today. This track is the most important one post leap and it is going to drive the story forward, for a long time to come. And I'm glad that the creatives have nearly flawlessly executed the first meet of Sneha with both her parents. It had everything, just the right dose of sweetness and sorrow.
A bubbly young child skips her way into two strangers paths who are hurting, and with no way and no one to express that hurt to. Whom do you talk to, when the person you turned to, to share your pain, is the one who has wounded you? What right do you have to say youre hurting, when you know that you've caused the worst grief imaginable in your mate's heart?
But when these two wounded, incomplete halves meet this young child, they seem to heal a little. In those few precious minutes, this child applies a soothing balm on their burning hearts and souls, even as her gentle fingers wipe away their tears. Who she is, they don't really know. But she reminds them both of that cherished child they held close to their hearts for so many years, whom neither could hold in their arms for longer than a few vanishing minutes. Both cannot help but wonder at how she reminds them of themselves and of happier times. And in remembering, they yearn. Yearn for what couldve been. Of how life would've been for them, had their dreams not been cruelly shattered. And we yearn along with them. Yearn for a world that could've been, where this bright young child would've grown up in the loving circle of her parents arms, knowing how much they cherished her and each other. A world where she would've not had to wander down a street cold or sit down in a corner hungry. Where she would've just ran upto her mom and told her she was hungry, and then sat down and gobbled up a bowl of rasagullas with her father. Where she would've been tucked in and patted to sleep by the loving hands of her parents. This child has no idea how loved she was and still is, and it's but the cruel hands of fate which has decreed that these 3 souls should travel down different paths yearning for each other. Now that their paths have begun intersecting, we can only wait with bated breath for more. More such times when there will be more such bitter sweet meetings. Meetings which we will watch with a smile on our face and with tears in our eyes. Crying even as we smile. Because, like Sneha said, we adults are very weird.
