Are these the new leads of Jinn show? Puraane waalon ka patta cut kar diya kya? Yeh bechaari Shruti ko toh Gul keeps bouncing around from show to show.....lol

And WTH is that Anika ka "Ru ru ru" wala music they are now using on Shruti ka character? Seriously Gul is recycling her bg scores now? lol yeh bhi Ekta ke zone mein chali gayi? I don't recall her doing this before for her previous shows....like Khushi ka bg score was never Zoya ka bg score or something.

Just finished watching Bullbul.....very well made.

One can see the notable difference in a female perspective when a film on such a subject is made by a woman.

They used the legend of the chudail quite well to make larger points about society and men trying to subjugate women.

The movie definitely belongs to Tripti....good acting by the actor playing Sudip too. Avinash really didn't have that much to do in this movie...he definitely got better scope in Laila Majnu.

So basically the night she gets raped by the crazy brother is the night she dies and then some supernatural force (possibly the Goddess Kali) enters her body and brings her back to life, right?

I found the way they dealt with the mutilation of her feet to be particularly hard hitting....her husband beats her feet so viciously because he thinks she's cheating on him with her brother....basically symbolizing the restriction of movement imposed on most women by society and men...he takes away her ability to walk....then the next brother comes and rapes her while she's defenseless, vulnerable and unable to move. Meanwhile youngest brother anyways abandoned her and ran off while playing coy all his life with her and then had the gall to return and feel jealous of Sudip giving her friendship.....lol losers all of them.

The jealous sister in law was also a larger metaphor for how women pull each other down in the need to curry favor among the available men.

Woh blood moon ka metaphor bhi interesting tha....how everything gets shrouded in red from the night when her body and soul are mangled by these men.

I have no idea what this is . So nazar 2 scrapped and these lame people are joining jinn ki cast to remain on payroll? Caz ki farak panda hai both are equally pointless and dumb shows.

Yuck at anika ka music being reused now matlab budget ki kami dikh hi rahi hai tum apne nazar ke aa aa aa use kar lo anika bechari ko chod do but no gul is vicious like that she'd do that only to spoil and taint memories of anika 🤷‍♀️

Sudip was the guy from kahaani hahah he was so nice to bidya bagchi and equally nice here. I loved when he taunted satya the dumbass at the end that wasn't she everything to you and then you ended up shooting her too. She did had a bullet hole towards the end right ?when she was on the tree. In the end.and I loved bulbuul's tum sab ek jaise ho.

Yes the whole her feet angle was very smart and done nicely. Poor girl had to go through so much. I was really disgusted by the paagal wala bhai matlab waise paagal hai but he had full sense to do what he did yuck. Also I found it rather intresting that her husband clearly had sambandh with that bhabhi and it was fine but the moment he got gist that satya and bulbuul maybe more he freaking breaks her feet like that Double standards much. I also loved the way bulbuul got the higher authority later on and she used to just show her eyes to that evil bhabhi and she'd go back to her place that woman needed some solid class. Her jealousy for bulbuul was really something

Ab remains to be seen ki audience itna laziness accept kar legi ki nahin...shaayad pandemic se dukhi log new episodes ke liye itna desperate ho ki kuch bhi dekh ke khush ho jaayein *shrugs*.....LOL

Yeah, Satya was a coward....most of the men in the story were cowards in one form of the other....even Sudip, who was otherwise nice but as he himself acknowledged, he was a coward when it came to pursuing any feelings for Bullbul since he considered her out of his league.

What struck me the most was the before and after in Bullbul's demeanor.....she is soft, innocent initially....and then the confidence that comes into her eyes and demeanor as she is reborn in a sense....you can call it the "wisdom" of seeing too many horrors ki duniya ka sach saaf saaf dikhne lagta hai.....that is what shows in the way she tackles the jealous SIL later too and puts her in her place ever so subtly with just the look in her eyes.

Satya didn't directly brutalize Bullbul but his cowardice ultimately played a part in her pain and brutalization.....the cowardice of never standing up for her when she needed him...which is why they had to show him being the one who ultimately ends her life even if he did it unknowingly.....that was meant to be his punishment for failing her.

Good point about the Thakur....he himself was having an affair with his SIL but his ego was challenged when he thought Satya-Bullbul were having an affair.....and the irony is that it was a totally innocent friendship....yes, clearly Bullbul was in love with Satya but their affection was very innocent....he was the only one who gave her companionship but even that was too much the Thakur's ego to bear since he only wanted his wife completely submissive to him, without being allowed to have any joy for herself. In a dreary child marriage imposed on her....the fact that she was married off to some 30 year old guy when she was barely 5 or 6 herself and then she only had one childhood companion/friend in the form of Satya to give her solace but even that was snatched away from her. It's all a metaphor for society always wanting to cage a woman's desires in every form.

Re: the feet....he didn't just break them...he mutilated them....when the doctor was tending to her wounds, they showed him pulling out pieces of her broken payal embedded inside her feet...that's how badly he mutilated her feet in his rage.
