LOL I have no idea about the overload of dying teenager stories that came out around the time of FIOS....mere liye toh I just read this book cuz I heard about it and I liked the book for itself....didn't really watch/read any similar stories that year. I wasn't on Twitter and stuff back then so had no idea of screaming teenagers ka hype or lack thereof....achhi life thi....simple....lol.....just goes to show hype kills the chance of anything being viewed in isolation on its own merit.

I liked the story because it had a philosophical angle to tragedy, grief and loss....especially with the lives of the parents woven in beyond the love story itself.

Haven't watched Five Feet Apart....no idea about it. Me before you is the one with Khaleesi in it, right? lol I think I've seen the poster....but story felt too cliched so I never bothered.

About KHNH as I said my way of viewing films and judging them has changed drastically honestly I never looked that deep or given it a thought when i first saw it it was just a feel good film at that time with a super sad ending then with growing up and rewatching old favs a lot has changed caz perspectives has changed and the things i used to enjoy so much are now like hain🤔 but why. Beleive it or not I was obsessed with koi mil gaya anyone point of my life 😆 jaadu was everything and now I die a little everytime it is on tv and cringe at why did I liked it so much as a kid😆

Yeah me before you has khaleesi in it but it's not teenage they are older 😆

KRPK ka random episode popped up in my YT timeline....I guess this is from some timeframe during their seperation.....oh man, Erica ki acting was pretty bad then also...lol I thought she only got worse with KZK2....but nope, yeh toh pehle se kaafi off thi.

I guess I only remembered her from the first 50 or so epis of KRPK which I had watched when I was following the show in real time and she had seemed ok then....but she's pretty bad in this epi I just saw....

And wow Shaheer is pretty awful too with the hamming as the constantly rotlu loser Dev in this show.....how was this pair popular again? matlab I fail to see it....lol it's remarkable that he is noticeably better in YRPK as Abir....maybe that's why this is his first pairing that I followed itna bhi.....lol

Oh wow this trailer is SO freaky to watch in the time of Covid😲😆.....people needing to stay apart to not catch each other's bacteria....LOL and now this is our reality. Sigh.

I can see why it feels like FIOS deja vu with the kids hooked up to tubes and stuff....lol so yeah I guess it depends on which story you come across first.....mere liye FIOS the book I came across first so it worked from there....movie came later. Rest I didn't follow the teenagers ke latest fads so much.....haha

😆 That's a myth to me too she was fine until they got married atleast they were both tolerable uske baad there was only doom and terrible terrible acting and story. Erica just starting oozing out negative energy only and it hadn't left her idk but she always looks like she's bitter and sulking since that time only. The only time she seemed the erica from start of krpkab was when she was on vacay with sc. Idk it's the way she talks which makes everything weirder for me.

Shaheer became total loser as casanova dev and their beti was so annoying too😆 One rare case where injust couldn't watch the kid being the common factor and milan ki wajah I actually liked woh bhatija of dev more than their daughter 😆

Oh btw kal ya aaj hi I saw shaheer raving about how kuch rang is his best work😆🤣 I mean go figure. I only like him pre shaadi in krpkab otherwise I find him very one dimensional as an actor too

Woh beti ka bhi I saw one scene....such a blank expression kid....man, casting was so bad in this show? I didn't realize cuz initially toh they all seemed fine like Sona ki family wala cast and Ishwari. Goes to show that show ki beginning can't always decide how it will evolve😆

Negative energy ka I don't know but Erica's dialogue delivery is just BAD in this post leap epi I saw.....maybe a better actress could have added some nuance to a "changed" Sona.

Oh this reminds me, I also caught up on some epis of YUDKBH some days back - the Mount Abu track that I never stuck around for in real time....lol I'd lost interest by then but I liked it when I caught up this time....woh bet ka reveal and aftermath was good too. I'd say despite the raw actors in this cast also, they did a better job of their story than KRPK.

Iss show ka toh mujhe no idea I think I saw here and there until his nanu was alive uske baad I never galti se bhi watched. They were better casted yes and even non stop antakshri ok toh aur kuch tha nahi.see mera problem hai and I can't help it I can't just tolerate something that is so average becoming so hyped which was the case here too with the whole asshi is the best thing after merilyn Streep kinda posts this just is too freaking much for me and then even if I appreciate something a bit I end up loathing it. Problem hai mera.. waise bhi tab I was too invested in shivika ke kisi aur pe nazar hi nahi jaati thi😆

Oh word about that annoying beti of dev sona like come on you know how weak I am for kids and worst case scenarios main bhi i"d just enjoy the kids and male bondings but that kid was soooo freaking fake and just didn't had any kind of pull and it felt like kisi aur ki bachi pakkad ke bhaithe hain. As I said shaheer had a way better bonding with the bhatija and he became more popular than unki apni beti😆 Haan theor beta in season 2 was cute but by that time who was intrested

LOLL if you watch the epis on YT, toh non stop antakshari nahin lagta cuz they don't play movie songs😆.....they have to use the alternative tracks that made for the soundtrack toh mujhe unki aadat ho gayi.

Naanu ki death se pehle jo build up hai, that is good.....so basically the phase I caught up on was from the point when Sameer makes the bet and then tries to pataao Naina for the bet, so ultimately getting her to come on this Mount Abu trip becomes part of that....it's kinda hard to explain but I feel they did a good job of showing both the maasomiyat as well as the obliviousness of teenagers in that phase.....Naina was lattu over Sameer and initially he was cocky about it but in the Mount Abu track, his own innocent side comes to the fore in the way he is touched by Naina's concern for him. Some epis were quite nicely done....and even the aftermath of the bet is good leading up to how Sameer realizes he loves Naina.

Also I do still think the title theme music is lovely....I remember that was the thing that made me originally watch the show :)

Arey ofcourse even I was too consumed by Shivika to manage to make time for this back then when beech ka drag made me lose interest😆

Achha if you are interested, I would say watch these two epis.....
