He would have disliked Antara staying married to MJ, for suspension of disbelief, if we assume that he didn't know that Anatara knew, then he wouldn't have let Rishi get this close to MJ, he would have told him the truth so as to protect him from becoming like MJ, becuase he saw how much Rishi worshipped him. Instead of giving into Antara's ignorance about her marriage, he would have forced her to divorce him which would have reveled to him that even she knew which would make him leave the house, becuase only AntShi were the reason he stayed back, and when your idol is this weak and spineless, I don't think someone like Rudra would have stayed back in the house
