When will Arnav's dad reveal about the whole truth in regards to his mom..May be he should be more assertive in making them listen to him once, fully...

Arnav, seriously, he seems to have a split personality ... or may be it's just self preservation for him...

Does Karan find Sheetal...as much as I am enjoying all the ARSHI, I cannot help but worry what would happen to her..

It's good that Manohar is good n back to office.. Arnav n Anjali both do not want to talk about their mother.. Also both are too full of attitude, a Thank You is a must in such a situation.. Arnav surely is self preserved man. It is hard for him to bring something good or show caring and be affectionate to some one considering his attitude.

I always wanted to write my first Arnav Khsuhi story, a cute light hearted one, but you know writers brain thinks too much, something in me inspired to write on women struggle and the things got complex with sheetal case. But wanted desperately to give light update. So this chapter wont have anything on sheetal..:( This one is just about Arnav Khushi.

Tik tok tik few minutes before…9AM

“How are you doing Sir?” Khsuhi began the conversion with manohar

“I am good you see” He paused and then continued..”Khushi, I really want to thank you , the way you managed the situation and admitted me to hospital. Iam really grateful”

As manohar said, Arnav was sceptical about her sudden change of behaviour.He knew and infact confident his last statement might have hurt her. It did affect her. The girl which he always saw as chirpy now is suddenly avoiding and silent for god sake!. She did not even bother to see him .

“I do exists in the room”

Khsuhi was out of words. She struggled initially, with Arnav presence in the room. “I…Sir, If there was any other person I would have helped him the same way.”

Before she could continue there was a phone ring on Arnav mobile. It was karan again. He took an excuse and was leaving the room when Khushi checked on him from the corner of his eyes.

“How can someone not say a simple word -Thanku. Unbelievable..”

When Manohar saw ARnav going out, he looked towards khushi who was busy in her thoughts.

“You might be thinking ,what kind of Son Arnav is? You have saved his father life, and he don’t even have courtesy to show bit of gratitude.”

Khushi was bewildered.This was a surprise from Manohar. How could in this world he could open topic about Arnav in front of her and how he knew Arnav has not even said anything such to her.

“You look surprised. Wondering why I am speaking to you all this?”

“Yes Sir….No No. No Sir.I mean why I would even think of that. “ Khushi engulped. This is really something odd discussion, whats coming into. Manohar smiled. He got up from chair and moved towards the large windows. Khushi kept pressing her fingers.

“Then you are lying. If I was in your place, I would have definitely!” As manohar spoke,khushi did not understand how to reply to this awkward discussion. He smiled back to her, bringing her in comfortable frame of mind.

“Arnav might have tried to fire those words several times, but he just don’t bring it out. Its not his fault”

Why is telling me all these in first place...Khushi was in dilemma what should someone reply for such question. Should I tell him-’Kaise beta hai aapka. He can’t even appreciate someone for saving his father life. .But she came up finally with impressive statement.

“It’s fine Sir. It is individual nature. I have not helped you keeping anything in mind”

“I appreciate that thought of yours” He knew, what the poor soul could say. Before he could continue he gets a call and khushi took an excuse to go out for same. She was not in comfortable position to interact on this matter. Way too complicated both father and son. Poles apart

A minute later when manohar kept the call, he reminisced on the last night event. When he was in his semi conscious state, he could hear everything of Khushi. After dialing on possible contact, Khushi kept murmuring name from his contact list. “Malia kofta ..Malai kofta shit. Then she began the call addressing his name Hello Mr Arnav Singh raijyda”

Manohar smiled. He could have asked her about how well she knows him, but he knew that would be too personal. She is dynamic, she is caring, she is smart, .He had seen her doing technical throwfall pits with ARnav and Anjali during project pace. What surprised him more was Arnav reaction back in the morning. He saw something in Arnav eyes, when he mentioned about “Khushi”. If it was someone else, Arnav would dam cared, but this time he had avoided eye contact with his dad. He was guilty with something. His eyes had spoken, but just he does not want to show up! Manohar did not miss that. He knows his son too well.

10AM

“Need one one help?”

“Sure. Tell me?”

“Is AR looking at me?”Kishore was now sceptical and turned to look at Khushi after reading khushi’s message. They were in conference room fora presentation. Khushi smiles at him and then text him back through office messenger

“Plzzzzzzzzzz’

“Pcccchhhhhhh” Kishore just tilted his laptop and looked at ARnav who was sitting opposite to them.

“No!”

“NOOOOO!. Khsuhi why don’t you check at him? It’s getting so awkward to watch him”He sends the text back

“What if he catches me staring him?. No risk!. “

“Will it look cool if I stare at him?”

“Don’t worry, he wont see you!. “Now check?”

“NOO. You have asked me 3rd time in just 5 minutes. He won’t see you. You have underestimated him”

“No. He would be surely scratching his head for my act!”

“This is not your serial.He is not seeing you. He is glued to his screen.Look at that Charlie Akash, he is giving presentation referring you!”

“Damm!”

Many a times, sudden shock leaves a person in distress which does not come out. Arnav grew up in the same agony when his mother left in his childhood. All the soft corners of his heart were buried down. He developed a strong wall around himself, with confidence that no one would break that wall and he will not give any one dam chance to hurt it back. He grown up with belief that emotions are for weak people. As young age, he understood how he has been surrounded with money and name. It took even less time for him to conclude that people show the concern and are roaming around him because he was rich. To the large extent it was true, every other girl he met, and they were there for his money, for name, for his fame. Well he got used to all of those,mingling in rich society circle. Girls would woo him, talk with him charm to gratify him, try to look sexy to please him, walk around his back and most importantly would not even dare to speak him anything. ,

But all dynamics had changed from the day and all the days when he met Khushi. She kept surprising him in every other way. Her gutsy spirt, her determination and her free soul which did not even bother something about his celebrity and prominence,. She did not give any dam to his star status.No one behaved with him like she did and that attracted him without his knowledge.And that unique quality of hers is what often pulled him towards her. And now when she was avoiding, literarily giving a dam care to his words, it pinched him hard. There were small cracks developing in that strong wall!

She is looking everywhere but him. Dam you, lady! How can someone ignore his presence! He swore taking calculative stride to khushi.He looked back at the screen.

“Last check plzz”

“He is glued to his screen!”

“So Khushi Gupta. I think your team would be able to track this up”Akash spoke referring Khushi, who was typing the reply to kishore back, .which left Khushi nudge suddenly.

“I think Miss Gupta is busy deciding her marriage venue locations”Arnav asked arrogantly drawing everyones eyes to him including hers. That’s right! She finally looked up at him shooting draggers , “That was too personal remark!” The stare he had been missing for so long and he wondered why he spat unnecessilarily but he felt content as his words did the job which his presence could not do.

She muttered in ire.

“Well, Mr Raijyada,I prefer multitasking, time is precious you know”.She turned back to Akash and conveyed that the team will review and get back to the timelines. She shut the laptop when the meeting was done.

“Guys , well Anjali is way on Honkong to attned Tri Group meeting and she conveyed her regards and invitees for today’s evening celebration. . Akash finished his brief talk.

“Khushi. Can you come to my cabin. Need to discuss with you something”Akash said , to which Khushi politely noded .That surely did not go well withARnav.

12 :01 PM

When Khushi was back at desk , kishore enquired what did Akash call for her. She mentioned about the promotion and hiring offer the Raijyada group wants to give.

“What did you tell?”

“What is there to tell? I cannot accept. I just want to go back home”

“Hmm”

12: 15PM

Khushi was wondering and expressed concern about the missing complaint payal had given.

“Its been a week, and I haven’t got any call from police. “ Khsuhi expressed her grief opening the calendar.

“You need to have patience. These things are not easy solved.”Kishore also briefed her that she should be prepared for the delays

“hmm. You know iam trying to trace their number through some apps but it’s not giving me any proper data. The moment I think more, it chills my blood. Aur upser sai Beijing project, if wo kaddus manager would not have pressured me I would have rejected. I don’t want to risk my job right now.“

“yeah I understand. Do not worry. Everything will be fine.“

She was quiet and then she asked him if he knew anyone from top position . Kishore helplessly shaked his head. Khushi felt low that how she should alone face this all. She picked her half empty bottle and was engulping it, when she threw on ground after hearing what kishore suggested next.

“Why don’t you ask Arnav help?”

Seeing her spewing water from mouth, he guessed she was in blow, and he continued to convince her “I mean think khushi , he must have big contacts handy. You can request him to help him. He can easily be recommendation for police commissioner “.

She was still in disbelief. Before Kishore could continue more, she replied in fast tract “Bilkul nahi. Even if am facing worst of situation,I would not ask his help. Itna attitude hai usko. He don’t have courtesy to thank me, imagine if I ask him help. No never”. She then quickly narrated him the previous night incident with kishore and expressed how two different person in same family could be so different.

“You are split personality I tell You”

“What !” Khsuhi asked amuzed

“Sometime you scold him, sometime you bother for his attention. Let me clear your head straight. you knew him well. You always said, that he is one star with loads of attitude , straight forward. Interestingly you liked him with those characters.. Whenever he spoke rudely in front of media, you supported him, so why it’s bothering you now? “Kishore paused , he always finds some changes in her way when it is Arnav. “Is it because you expected him to appreciate you , but instead he did the opposite?

“Partially right, but not the sense in what you are thinking “She lost in her thoughts. Why the things change when its HIM. Someone has expectations Dil se, then that expectations of love, care and respect doesnot reach Dil Tak, it’s makes you hurt?

“I can sense that, you seems to act differently when its Him. I can see through your eyes”

“Achha. How can you say that”

“Years of experience madam. Flirting, dating from high school days, and I can read that change in expression of girls.”

“Shutup”. Khushi threw as mall booklet over him on head, gets up from her chair.

“Going down to collect Miky’s courier.” She shouted going towards door. She never has put those thoughts on herself. How much she tries to avoid, it comes back to same place. She always convinced herself that she has that love and liking for him as purely a fan shows towards her actor, Nothing more, Nothing less, but she never put a mirror infront of her those feelings which always reciprocate when she sees Arnav, A feeling that every other person experience when falling for someone.

Khsuhi was waving with hand signals to the courier guy that she has come to collect on her friend behalf and that she is not in office. The courier guy was not understating and khsuhi was making various hand signals. That was not missed by Arnav , who was passing just beside her. Those handy expressions made him to stop on his tracks and he went near her who looked uncomfortable seeing him there suddenly.

“You are so god amazing actor. You should reconsider alternative job as deaf channel mutator” he smirked trying to irritate her, so that she open herself up, instead of avoiding.

“Not funny” Khsuhi retorted.

“By the way, someone mentioned that they are quick learner and would easily grasp the new language. And here I see, you are still in with this sign languages..” He gave another scoff.

“Ok. cant control”She muttered to herself and then turned her side to face him straight. And she bursted it out all her feelings to him, which was troubling her from last few hours.

‘Tu swatala kay samjtos..kasla maaj ahe tula…Tula yevdga pan nai kalat kitu mala dhanyavad karava..mi kasha tujya Marathi chi chahta jhali dev jane..tula janiv naseli mikal chya tujya vakya mule mala kiti tras jhala..ho mala Navin bhasha shikaychi hoti pan ata mala kaltay mi kaslya mahan mansa sobat kaam karat ahe..saada kautak pan nai karta yet majya kamacha.. bavlat beakKal..ek no cha kadu karlaa hes tu” Khsuhi sighed heavily after finishing in single breath. She knew he doesnot understand Marathi.

“What the” He looked at her in disbelief.

“Since how many years you are staying in Mumbai? Marathi sikh lete thoda..” She smirked and then turned her way towards exit. She then bites her lips, for all that she said. She although was confident he would not have understood a single word.

However, he registered last few words.

Arnav entered the cabin, typing something in mobile, when he was about to dash his father.

“You look so involved”

“Nothing just trying to search meaning of bavlat something, like that. It’s not showing up”

“STUPID”

“Common dad, why are you behaving like this” He spoke gluing his eyes on screen

“I mean “BAVLAT” means STUPID”

Arnav raised his head in nudge

“BEAKKAL?”

“Its IDIOT!”

Arnav was now fuming. How could she dare to speak him like this?

“I am curious to know the history behind this” Manohar smiled.

“Nothing dad” he got up from chair. Someone owes me this elucidation in detail. He made his way towards door, when he paused and turned back

“And what is this “kadu karla”?” he frowned his eyebrows

“Bitterest Bittergaurd. Kadwa karela”

Manohar could next hear only the sound of door slammed.

“Kadwa karela is better than malai kofta. It does suits my son” He smiled to himself

She finished her lunch and was making her way back to her cabin, when one of other team lead came to her and asked her for Arnav singhRiajya autograph and showed her interest in to take one selphi with him.

“Autograph of Mr Riajyada. You follow him?” Khsuhi asked in amusement.

“Yes. Oh my god. I am huge fan of him. We do watch all hindi serials and he is super hot. I have seen him with you in meeting. Please introduced me to him“ When she spoke, it burst many arrows of thunder inside khushi. She wanted to convey in soft manner but something in her hit and firing began.

“That’s taking a bullet in your heart you know..He is not super cool.Believe me he is rude ,arrogant and taking the name ‘Fan ‘at first place he will treat you like an alien. Remember his name.

Arnav- what it means…A for Arrogant,R- Rude, N- Naïve, A- Attitude V- ? V for V iloent? No that doesn't go up.. But he is sooper moody. .She was so super fast in her explanation which left the women confused what she was suddenly saying. There was a Frustration in her eyes. She pointed finger towards her and spoke. ” Take my suggestion- Don’t ever watch his serial..”

“Excuse me” There comes a male husky voice behind her
