Nageen is the strongest fl in Pak dramas till now, coz she still has the will to stand up for herself. I am watching this drama for her only. Just want her to succeed. 👍🏼

You're right, so far Nageen is quite a strong female character and very sensible. I think it would have been better for her if she listened to her own intuition instead of following her sister's advice.

I just feel sorry for her the way people talk to her/at her. I like Haroon generally, and he genuinely thinks he's doing what's best but I think it would be kinder if he left her alone because I don't see his mother being nice to Nageen anytime soon.

The poor girl is scared of losing the only relative who cares for her. I think her sister's threat may drive her to marry Haroon, which will be a big mistake , coz she doesn't love him.

I agree. But I think Haroon is deeply in love with Nageen, 😒 so he doesn't want to let her go. He thinks that his mom will agree after sometime, when she sees how good girl Nageen is.😕

Also, I hope that at some point Nageen tells him about the whole Sultan issue. Preferably before she marries him, because otherwise that could be a problem in the future.

Do you think Haroon's mother is going to soften to Nageen? I get a feeling this might be one of those things that's resolved at the end.

I think she'll try to tell him about Sultan, but I think he'll stop her saying let bygones be bygones.😉 This will keep us guessing , and will offer lots of drama when they meet again, and Sultan starts interfering in her life.🤓

Ep 19 my thoughts

So basically again the first part was a repeat of last week.

Narmeen is complaining to her mother that Sultan basically doesn’t give a damn about her pregnancy because she’s sure BiJaan has told him but he hasn’t tried to bring her back. She hates him. She says she will divorce him to teach him a lesson and make sure that he never gets to see his child.

I don’t know whether it’s pregnancy hormones or just that she is mentally unstable because later on in the episode she screams because she finds out that he is still interested in Nageen. She is angry and upset that he doesn’t love her and never really did. (if you really wanted to divorce him what’s the big deal anyway?)🤬

Near the end of the episode, when she’s told that Sultan is somewhat still involved with Nageen, Narmeen goes crazy, she is livid and wants to murder Nageen and punish Sultan.

Nageen is being pursued by Haroon for marriage. She has had one month to think about it and still is feeling unsure. She is being encouraged by her sister who says forget about the past and that this boy is nothing like Sultan so go ahead and marry him, and anyway Nageen works with him in the office and so it’s someone she already knows.

Nageen is still hesitant, she rightly told her sister she doesn’t want to go into a marriage without explaining everything about her past, but her sister advises against this, which we know will inevitably lead to misunderstanding and yet more added problems for Nageen in the future.😔

(To be honest, it was in truth only an engagement that was broken on the wedding day with a terrible kidnapping fiasco, for which Nageen was totally innocent and can explain this to him, so I don’t understand why the sister talks about it like it was some sordid affair? Before it happened anyone would think of them as just another engaged couple)

Sultan anxiously wants to find Nageen and is told that Rashid and the family have relocated to Dubai. He doesn’t believe this and tries to search for her in Pakistan.

Eventually he is so frustrated that he cannot find Nageen that he asks someone to find out the telephone numbers of all the people with her full name.

It turns out there are 21 girls (really?) on the list and he goes through all 20 phone numbers but to no avail.

The last one seems to be our Nageen, and before he can dial it, he gets a call from his grandmother congratulating him that he’s going to be a father. Surprisingly he looks really pleased and gets distracted by this happy news and doesn’t make the final phone call, instead he gets up to go and bring his wife back.

Nageen decides to marry Haroon after thinking of the many flashbacks showing his caring nature and also the fact that they did keep meeting by coincidence. (He says these are signs from God that they were meant for each other.) She finally accepts his proposal and he gifts her an engagement ring.

Nageen has one niggling worry though. She knows his mother doesn’t like her and doesn’t want her to be married to him.

He replies that his mother loves him so by default she will love Nageen as well. (This is a load of crap. I don’t know why men seem to think so much of themselves when they say stupid stuff like this. it doesn’t make the girl feel any happier it just makes her feel that her happiness is tied to whoever she marries rather than being liked for her own individual self. And no matter how much he says he will love and protect her, it’s granted that he will never be around to hear the snide evil comments his poor wife has to endure from his mother )😔

Nageen very rightfully is feeling uncertain of being in a marriage where she is hiding her past from Haroon and also knows she will be treated badly by his mother, but accepts her destiny like a lamb to the slaughter.

😕I haven’t got the strength to write any more about Narmeen and her epic meltdown at the end, would love to hear what you all think.

You again said it all. And I agree with you that Narmeen's parts are better not watched.🤪

Agree too that only the wife will have to face the angry MIL, her husband won't be around all the time, Nageen too is aware of it, but she has to face it. She can't live alone, coz soiety is merciless.😈 Haroon is the best guy for her coz he really cares for her.😊

I just want to add that it was a beautifull feel good episode. 😃 loved Nageen and Haroons scenes. She did try to tell him about her past , but he stopped her (as I expected 😉) . The way he confessed his love for her made me..❤️❤️❤️. I also felt for him when he told her that day that he'll hide his love for her if she doesn't reply in a day.😒 Their last scene after she accepted him were gr8. Their smiles, happiness, and Nageen assuring him of only dreaming of an ordinary guy as a life partner, all looked real. And I was in awe.

Sultan needs this , yes. He needs to see Nageen as a happily married woman, coz even when he searched for her he refuses to accept that he truely loves her or made a mistake by leaving her , torturing her, and getting married to his cousin. He is the same egoistic selfish person. He needs a reality check. And I am happy that he is going to make a fool of himself trying to please the mother of his baby, when all she wants is to destroy him.😈
