Good to know that..stay at home strictly to stay safe. Yes the whole country is in lockdown for 21 days right now....But the people here love gatherings, bazars, streets are still so crowded!

Omg, that's not safe. I hope you're staying at home.

My dad's there too. He went for a couple of weeks and now he's stuck there. He says that there was a lot of panic shopping for a few days in the last weeks but now it's hard to see anybody outside.

I used to live in Amritsar. Now I'm at Gwalior, MP.

Studying, mostly. I tried reading some fiction but couldn't make myself. Today, I once again opened up the book I was reading earlier. I hope I can complete it this time. It's The Hounds of the Baskervilles by Doyle and from the few chapters I've read, it seems to be the best one among the ones I've read. Also, I've developed quite a liking to the Marvel Universe. I have watched all the movies save two. Also, I've read some of the comic series. I love it!

How about you, what are you doing? I saw you read some books too. And how are you doing your research work from home?

I don't know but I hope she's keeping safe.

Oh ok, do study more and stay at home...Yes, currently trying to do as much of my research paper writings from home but as an experimentalist, not much can be actually done from home.

The Hounds of Baskervilles is a very good story, though I haven't read it but knew the story very well. This is a very popular one among all the Holmes story. I haven't watched any of the marvel movies as I am not keen to watch superhero films, but there is a large fanbase of it, no doubt the movies must be great.

Yes, after completing few Bankim novels [frankly speaking I got bored as hell reading them- Durgeshnandini is always good (so I'll exclude it), Kapalkundala's main story is very good but there are so many subplots which seemed to me very unnecessary and boring, therefore killing its essence, similar goes with Anandamath- the first part seems so good yet from the middle, it completely loses the plot IMO].

After all these, I quitted reading Bankim and then I started reading the books I had bought from Book Fair this year. And I had started with a Ruskin Bond Book and I have became his fan of his writing after reading my first book of him. After that, I read Harper Lee's famous Pulitzer Prize awarded book, "To Kill A Mockingbird". And this novel is one of the best one I have read in recent times (probably after Bibhutibhusan's Aparajito). This book has so much to offer and I am in complete love with the character of Atticus.Have you read it?

When I was in college, I loved the experimental part of my science course. I found the theoretical part almost boring. I can't imagine being still in that field and not doing anything practically.

I have been told by a few people that this is in fact the best Holmes story. Have you watched the Sherlock Holmes movie or the TV series?

Before my friends finally convinced me to watch the MCU movies, I was never interested in superhero movies...even the famous ones like Spiderman. They just seemed so childish! But now, I regret not watching these movies earlier. I wish I could have caught at least the last two movies in the theatre. If you have never tried watching any sort of superhero movie, you should really give it a try some day. They're great. And I'm not just talking about smashing things about while superheroing. These films actually go deep into real life questions and situations, shows you both sides of the coin and makes you really think.

Wow. I've always wanted to go to Kolkata's book fair but it never happens. I've heard so much about it from mum. Which Ruskin Bond book did you read? "To Kill a Mockingbird" is in my TBR for so long but I never managed to read it. But I've heard a lot about it. You know I've still not crossed Chapter 4 of Emma that I started reading a year back...remember we talked about it? Even with this Holmes novel, it's been months since I started it. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm currently 3 books behind schedule for my Goodreads Reading Challenge.😳

Also, I was getting bored by this temporary lack of reading ability so I learned the Russian alphabets and a few words and sentence formations in the past few days. That was fun! Have you ever tried learning a foreign language? Or even an Indian language?

We all still miss Alan Rickman as Snape. And it's the same for the other characters as well. If HP is ever made again, it's going to be very difficult to accept anyone but these actors playing those characters.
