Episode 5
The episode starts with everyonestaring at Maya in amazement. Rudra is left mouth agape as he reminisces howRishi described his girlfriend, his and Maya’s previous meetings and how afterjoining all the dots, proves that Maya is the girl who is indeed Rishi’sgirlfriend. He turns towards his parents as he remembers how Maya revealed tohim that she was his FATHER’S EX-MISTRESS, he clenches his fists in thosethoughts as Maya is descending with her eyes fixed onto the whole family withan evil smirk on her face. MJ has his eyes popped out in astonishment as hesees Maya and reminisces his past with her. Flashback, ten years earlier, Mayawhose actual name was Manvi joins MJ group of industries as an intern. When atfirst Manvi ignores MJ’s advances, he lures her by cooking up a fake story andstarts an extra-marital relationship with her. Later, they move forward intheir relationship, thus consummating it. A few months later, Manvi findsherself pregnant which is when MJ’s true colours come out. He starts behavingarrogantly and rudely to Manvi forcing her to abort her child and when, Manvidoesn’t give in, he demands his friends and helpers: Sudhir Dutt, Aamir, Yogito beat her up and throw her into an abandoned waterless pond; thus, taking herlife. However, Maya emerges from the pond saving her life but losing her child.At that moment, she vows saying “From now on. Manvi is dead and Maya born totake REVENGE from MJ and his family who have wronged me and my family.”Flashback ends.
MJ is shaken off the floor onseeing Manvi alive and staggers backwards. Antara holds onto his shoulders insupport. Maya is watching him closely and lets out an evil smirk. As Maya comesdownstairs, Rishi goes near her and forwards his hand. Maya looks at Rudrawhose eyes grow red in pain, “Chaha Tujhe Dil Ne Mere; Toh Saanso NeDhokha Diya…. plays in the background” Maya smilingly places her hand onto Rishi’s. Rudra clencheshis fists hard on seeing that; Ananya notices the change of emotions on Rudra’sface and tries to pacify him by catching his arm, nevertheless he shakes offher hand from him. Rishi brings Maya in front of the crowd and proclaims, “So,ladies and gentlemen everyone feels AGE DIFFERENCE between a man and woman, whereif A WOMAN is older than a man becomes the biggest barrier in A RELATIONSHIP!So negating all those social stigmas, I introduce here to all of you MY FUTREWOULD-BE who is ten years YOUNGER than me!” Rudra closes his eyes in dejection,while the whole crowd is astounded and start hissing among each other!” Thewhole MJ’s family is thunderstruck on hearing that announcement. MJ tries tocompose himself and draws close to Maya. The sound of MJ’s footsteps disturbsMaya as she gets reminded of her bitter past on hearing them. As he is about tocome face to face with her, Rudra comes and stands in front of him. Both Mayaand MJ are surprised to see his sudden gesture, he hugs MJ and whispers intohis ears, “I know Mr. Mritunjay Roy, how is she related to you!” MJ’s eyes growbig as he gets stunned to learn that. Rudra continues “But unfortunately Rishiand the guests don’t, so please don’t make a fool of yourself and our family infront of the guests!” and on putting a fake smile onto his face, Rudra forwardshimself, while motioning MJ not to draw close to Maya. MJ gives in, however hemakes an announcement “To all present here, this is a BIG EVENING for me, Mr.Mritunjay Roy as both my sons have found their LIFE PARTNERS, so before weproceed with the engagement, I call all the beautiful couples present here tocome and hit their feet on the dance floor!” Rishi smiles in amusement, whileRudra and Maya get tensed. MJ shouts out, “Music!” and pulls Antara along withhim to the dance floor. Rishi signs Maya who agrees, however has her heartfilled with anxiety. Soon, they too join the dance floor. On seeing them, Rudrabrings Ananya and joins in the dance floor. Soon there are quite a few couplesdancing in pairs on the dance floor and as the music changes, the coupleschange their pairs. Soon MJ and Maya, become a pair. Rudra looks on. MJ catchesher tightly around her waist and asks, “So Manvi Jaisingh is alive! Was allthat you got from me not enough that you have come back to my life targeting myRishi?” Maya smirks evilly and asks, “What happened, the great fearless MJ gotscared on seeing his ex-mistress?” Mritunjay answers back in an irritant tone,“I never fear anything!” Maya counter replies, “Then go and reveal to Rishi,what was the ACTUAL RELATIONSHIP between you and me!” MJ is jolted andunknowingly loosens his grip from Maya’s waist. Rudra is watching themcarefully, while Maya continues with a daring stare, “You will not Mr.Mritunjay Roy because YOUR SONS’ LOVE AND RESPECT IS EQUIVALENT TO YOUR OWNLIFE and the Manvi whom you killed has returned as this Maya to bring a STORMinto that life of yours!” MJ gets furious and is about to react just when themusic changes and Rudra pulls Maya towards him. MJ is startled at Rudra’saction; however, he maintains his posture and continues to dance with his nextpair. Rudra demands Maya in a low voice, “What are you doing?” Maya counterasks, “What did I do?” Rudra holds her close and asks, “Why are you playinggames with my BROTHER, when you have no feelings for him?” Maya asks him, “Areyou worried that your brother will get hurt if I get close to him or you areworried that you will GET HURT WHEN YOU SEE ME WITH HIM?” Rudra is taken abackat that question and gets looking into her eyes. Both share an intense eyelock. “Chaha Tujhe Dil Ne Mere; Toh Saanso Ne Dhokha Diya…. plays in the background” Ananya gets exasperated onnoticing the closeness between Rudra and Maya, goes towards them and informsRudra, “Rudra, I think it’s high time that we start our engagement function!”Rudra nods and catches Ananya’s hand, while leaving Maya’s hand. The latter isheartbroken as she loses her clasp from Rudra’s hand; however, she tries to staycalm telling herself, “Focus Maya, focus! You have come here to avenge MJ andhis family and will not fall weak for your feelings!”
Just when Rudra and Ananaya’sengagement is about to start. Rishi calls out announcing, “Today me and Mayawill GET ENGAGED ALONG WITH BHAI AND ANANYA!” All including Maya are bewilderedto hear that announcement.
