Well, I don't believe that people are portrayed as something only when other characters say that, Even actions prove that and thats my problem, through Prerna's current actions and her family's current dependence on her, the makers kind of portrayed her to be a good daughter( ideal is a far away think, she isn't even like normal good daughter to her parents) , I mean the family had 3 other grown up children and 2 daughter in laws apart from Prerna, none of them could earn enough to even get the family good food is so unbelievable to me , medical expenses don't do that to you specially in a family of 6 where all are capable and atleast 4 are qilling enough to earn...and of course, Prerna had to be saviour, that was of course done to show her something, Veena didn't once question Prerna about where she was all this time...had I been anybody in that family, I would slap this girl first of all after meeting for vanishing for 8 years leaving all family grieving but none questioned her, validating her step again...I agree about you...these all random dissappearance of frmale leads post leap is so irritating but thankfully there the female leads family aren't shown dependent on them like here, didn't knew they were tagged as ideal daughters by anyone though

you are right.but one thing I like is like other bahus prerna was never shown caring towards mohini.she was back answered her since memory loss track.she always tries to ignore her

about meeting expenses. ..the same thing I felt in the top 1 show also.the lead is a doctor still she is portrayed as a poor girl which is illogical for me.so unfortunately this is common in tv shows n we can only ignore it

I agree, even I liked that but still that was never enough for me...I hate Mohini a lot( equal to my most hated character) so...also that all started only post memory loss track( where too she eventually did do what Mohini said by taking Anurag's name as blackmailing) , that was never for the insult her mother faced but more so by realizing that Mohini is never gonna care for her

This prerna is a doormat who is obsessed with her toxic relationship with that spineless and dumb Anurag.And no it's not love.It's emotional abuse.

OG Prerna (Shweta) was kickass I am more of an Anupre fan that season I don't like that season Mr. Bajaj character I prefer this season Mr. Bajaj more. The lead's character this season are so badly sketched though I love "Prerish" Prerna is a pathetic character and her revenge track is a joke. Anurag is even worst having touchy scenes, sexy pull and cute nok jhok with the vamp.

Jasmine, I didn't mean ideal daughter there as I said but she was indeed tried to be portrayed as a good daughter by making her family financially dependent on her post leap, You see I have never seen this even in any other Ekta show post leap...this track was specifically inserted for a reason, atleast to me it sounds like to make Prerna appear like that loving, good daughter who cared a lot for her parents and of course her preechings about how Veena inspires her and equality of male- female, doesn't suit her to be honest, about other leads, except for star plus's trp leader show, the other female leads still had reasons like most of the times they were in some or the other guilt( Ishita for Ruhi, Pragya for Dadi etc.) Made some sense atleast unlike here where she had done nothing and could easily come back to her family and send Anurag to jail rather than let him enjoy his life for 8 years( according to her)

I didn't knew that shows lead was being shown as a poor girl, But yup atleast her mother who took care of 2 girls all by herself isn't shown financially dependent on her there

Well, I haven't watched the original, just read its wiki description, That Prerna did sound 100 times better than this...I do wonder how the character can regressive over time than progress to be honest given we are supposed to be a progressive society

actually now they want to show prerna n Sharma family under the same roof.that's why suddenly prerna is asking them to stay with them to have financial stability.bcz they want to show the kitchen politics as prerna's brother's wife is going to be a vamp.yes prerna could have taken revenge immediately.this is also another illogical twist which is shown in many serials.in kggk Parvati returned after 20 years for revenge.in yhm nidhi came after 12 years for revenge.even beyhadh2 members were discussing why Maya took 10 years to take revenge.in kzk1 prerna shot anurag thinking that he killed mr. bajaj though he begged her to believe him.since prerna attempted murder anurag decided to take revenge.but he came only after 20 years for revenge.this is another stupid rule of Hindi tv serials. ..come back only after many years.so here also they showed mr. bajaj asking prerna to take revenge only after she becomes financially independent

in kzk1 prerna was more bold bcz tjere anurag really hurt her like married kamolika only for his mom..when mr. bajaj poisoned his mind he believed that sneha is not his child.so though post leap anurag did everything selflessly she never believed him n kept on slapping him.that time media called her slapping queen as she was slapping anurag every now n then due to misunderstanding
