She is carrying a legend character's legacy .. yes she is breathing for ANURAG ..but apart from anurag there is a another world as well as. yes this is a love story .. but i already said , love has various shades and colors . love for family , love for husband , love for friends also the part of love story . and if this would be a complete love story then show would be named as Love zindagi kay , not kasauti.. it is all about kasautii.. Moving on is one of the biggest kasautii of this story . so watching the past legacy , obviously there come a expectation for desiring a Storng FL and Self Identity .

I don't see any connection with name n show. Well till now she has been shown as lover only. For her anurag is foremost imp. But her obsession is only loving him without expecting in return. I don't see wrong in that. For every woman, her man is priority. She will do everything to save her love/man.

Which legend you are talking about? I hope it's not s1 prerna. For me no character is legend. Legendary means, they shd b role model. Though I hv not seen s1, I am sure no ITV leads are legendary.😆

Till now her world revolves around anurag only. Why not. He is her love. Till now, they never gave proper track to her relatives. So we don't know how good she is with them. But she has not harmed them either. As we all know, till now she was struggling n putting herself in risk in saving anurag. Is it not a brave thing to fight against enemies.

Since I hv not watched s1, I don't know what is kasauti means. All I know is 3rd wheel are kasauti's and anupre tried level best to pass on kasauti. I think they keep loving each other even when they r living with other partners, but I don't think they will move on completely. Let's see what kind of kasauti they will show us now onwards.

i will not drag about s2 prerna discussion here more , cos whatever my views about her character already have said .will not repeat once again ..

But as per s1 prerna's ref , dont want to discuss in briefly as rules are not allowed. but as per legendary aka being role model for society , yah she was in many ways apart from love saga , for that decade for that era,was the most progressive. she represents this decade also as well as.

if u interested , then pls come once in s1 thread .. u will get to know about her more.

Thank god till now it was just a love story. I love to watch love stories n I am really not interested in righteous woman n fighting for right things always, hundreds of such serials are available on itv. If it was like s1 as you said, I would hv discontinued long time back. I loved this anupre, n parica were fire on screen. Till now I was enjoying, don't know how long I am going to continue.

I was star one fan. I used to watch DMG, miley jab, geet, rang badalte.. etc. So, u can understand my likings 😆

Well, the importance does come into play atleast for me because she has been given a name with such a clear meaning( There have been other female leads of same production house and none of their names have that clear meaning ) Well, I wouldn't have had any problem if she was shown as a lover only, but thats clearly not a case...The makers still want to show what an ideal daughter she is who cares for her family( the biggest problem for me) which isn't the case at all...AT All

Loving someone without expecting anything in return is not wrong but no matter what, forgetting your dead father and that his killer is roaming free is not, neither is forgetting your mother's humilation by a vile lady purely because that lady happens to be your lover's mother...That doesn't matter to me either, my sole problem is after all this...Why try to portray that she loves her family when thats clearly not the case and of course, she being a strong woman is being continously portrayed post leap which is not the case, atleast for me.

to be frank only in the naveen babu track they portrayed prerna as an ideal daughter.after that even when prerna was struggling hard to release her mom woth court case no character even said that prerna is an ideal daughter like the characters of other shows say about their daughters (female leads).bcz in this show they focus only on prerna as a beloved unlike other shows where heroines as a daughter n bahu were focused .nobody cared about anurag neglecting his family as everyone wanted mohini n nivi to suffer in the hands of kamolika.but what i can't digest is prerna did not bother to contact her family in last 8 years.not only prerna most of the heroines like simar pragya ishita gopi who were tagged as an ideal daughter unlike prerna were also did not bother about their own family when they were separated from the sasural.I find it very artificial n illogical.in real life when girls get separated from sasaural they go to maayka.but in tv shows they just ignore their family completely for many years.after 10-20 years suddenly they come back to maayka.so illogical

it's the bitter reality of the society that most of the in-laws(90 percent) insult or taunt the daughters in law's family..but the daughters in law suppress the pain just for the sake of their married life.

Jasmine, it might be and even though I don't want to but even if I still understand the insult part, But still...Mohini never just insulted Veena, She send her to jail,that really can't be equated to just insult for me, I mean thats so bad and to be honest, Eventually Mohini never became her in law, She was always her lover's mother and that was the only reason prerna cared for her.
