Rishab-Kukki - yeh dooriyan

Prerna dad mujhse pyar kyun nahin karte ,.,matlab bachpan mein mujhe itna pyar karte the par ab kyun nahin karte ...? kyunki main badi ho gayi ?

I am sure he does .. par Prerna tumhe nahin lagta tum dad ka bahut zyada side leti ho .. i know unka nature kaisa hai .. bachpan se leke abhi tak dekh hi rahi hoon na par ,, pata nahin kya badal gaya .. kuch toh baat hai jo mujhe pata nahin hai aur dad ko mujhse dhoor kar rahi hai

i was pondering what changed between them... let me try to write as what i understand at this point of time ..

let's go back in time .. he married a woman who was about to get married , carrying someone else's child , all for HIS DAUGHTER , who is his WORLD , he moved every pawn, played every trick, opened every card and got married to the woman who influenced his CHILD's special needs a positive way, he turned the world upside down, crossed all lines of ethics and morality and went in a pure business format and got that mom for her daughter , soon enough he fell in love with her and left her for her happiness, regretted, redeemed himself and walked out of her life

the man for whom his daughter was his WORLD , moved away , distanced himself from her and built a shield around himself, without showing any affection or love ... why ??

the universe works in mysterious ways , destiny made them come face to face yet again ...

He is the ONLY one who saw her broken and shattered and fragmented Prerna on the verge of killing herself in that fire which engulfed her 2 day old daughter

he wouldn't let her die, she says she has no reason to live, but he gives her the purpose to live

Bajaj says " ek maa ke liye ek bachche ko khone ka ghum kya hota hai woh koi aur samaj nahin sakta hai .. naa hi uss bachhe ki jagah koi le sakta hai , ... magar Kukki ... woh usse aapki pyaar ki zaroorat hai .. kabhi kabhi dho adhoore log ek doosre ko milkar apne aap ko poora kar dete hai jaise aap aur kukki ... aap zindagi ko khatam karne ki koshish bandh kijiye , apni zindagi ko purpose dijiye

A mother lost her child and that cannot be compensated, but only a child can , he gave her a responsibility , a purpose to live , he gave HIS child to her , only a child can fulfill a mother's life who lost her child and only a mother can fulfill a child's world , who has no mother , he gave two incomplete people to each other , and they completed each other,

Prerna Kukki are more of friends where Kukki shares everything and anything with her , they talk about anything, they do share a heartwarming bond, be it their little wink or jigs or kukki going any extreme to save and protect Prerna and today's conversation about the one important person in their lives who gave them each other .

In all this where is Rishab, when he gave Kukki to Prerna , HIS world to HER, he silently distanced himself from her daughter , may be on the pretext of being busy or in the facade of a strict father , so that Prerna could heal , a mother could get the warmth of a child, a mother can shower her affection on a child, he did not interfere in their relation.

being the kind of father Rishab has been to Kukki when she was a kid I am sure even now his heart yearns to hug his daughter as much as Kukki's yearns for her dad, I am sure he wants to share a warm domestic moment with his daughter and Prerna , but he stepped aside , he tried to keep Prerna in between them , when Prerna wanted to go to Kolkata, even then he immediately agreed for Kukki to go with Prerna "I think it's a good idea .. kyunki main kukki ko sambhal nahin sakta... aur aapko apni mom ko company deni chaahiye she shouldn't travel alone " which makes much more sense now . Prerna was going to Kolkata where all her bruises and scathe will be uncovered , he can't let her go alone so who better than Kukki , who is not just her daughter but her friend .

He saw a broken Prerna when she lost her newborn bachchi , he gave her his daughter, his world all in the process to give her a purpose and aim in life and made Prerna what she is today a successful, confident business woman . People promise so many things in love but he just does things in silence, devotedly, in love for her .

He didn't take Prerna to London look after his kid ,. that line "magar kukki .... Kukki ke liye " at the orphanage is so imperative and profound now , he gave her kukki , not to let go off his responsibilities BUT to give a purpose to Prerna, for her to LIVE again .

He can burn himself slowly to illuminate her life to the extent he gave her a part of his heart, his dil ka tukda, his duniya, his BETI to HER and distanced himself from his daughter and this makes all of Prerna's words about Rishab being introvert, non-expressive makes all the more imperative, this precisely is Rishab BAJAJ's selfless , unconditional , unrequited LOVE for his PRERNA

bajju blames himself for not saving sneha.he thinks pre has lost her daughter so how can he get the happiness by being with his daughter n so he is distancing himself from kukki to punish himself Cause before leap it was only with kukki he used to open himself n be true self She was the only one whom he gave unconditional love n used to smile only to her.

8 years back he left Prerna because he loved her. Her miseries eventually led to his return and I think her agony did a lot to change him as a person. The impact of Prerna's pain wasn't restricted to her alone. It affected and changed him too. He's no longer the man we saw in phase 1. 💔

The deep and unexplored meaning behind his words at the orphanage is gradually making its presence felt. Had he not given her a purpose in form of his own daughter, Prerna's agony would have consumed her.

This man's vices are more celebratory than the overglorified virtues others possess. ❤️

I am having tears in my eyes.

And I'm sure their are only a handful of man who lead their in the service of the women's in his life. Be it a mother, wife, daughter and I am really glad and proud to say that the iconic character the rishab Bajaj is one such.

Man such a well written post. That didn't even come to my mind until you brought it up. Bajaj never stopped loving kuki. He just stepped aside for prerna. When prerna lost her daughter that hole regarding the loss of a child was there. Kuki is not prerna biological daughter but bajaj handed her to prerna. In hopes that kuki will mend some part of the hole that is left in prerna regarding the loss of her child. All responsibilities, care and love prerna would have had for sneha was directed to kuki. She channel her grief in that way. Kuki was a distraction for prerna grief of the loss of her child. Him being cold and indifferent was purposely done so she can form a stronger bond with prerna.

they both are parents. One of them has to mourn the death of the other child for life. That, that he ws unable to save Sneha from fire, is holding him back. Nothing else. 🥺
