Well if it can work in EDT where memories can come back from a previous jaanam just by seeing the villainous lead who was supposedly 40 something and looked 20 something, then I suppose it can happen here. At least it's just about becoming intelligent and not bringing back previous janam ki memories.
HAHAHA, EDT was one hell of a crazy show. In EDT the concept was about the deewana and the obsession for the girl, it was no way a normal love story with ups and downs, there was supernatural element in the show, so anything batshit crazy happening in there can be accepted but in Kasauti, there are no such elements so if we assume that leads will be more intelligent if they have other partners is probably not possibly, because with other partners (read komo-bajaj) both the leads have behaved more stupid and weird compared to what they are with each other.
