You raise a really good point. In all due time she will. But its not about her telling him. Its more about the ability for anyone to feel that they can approach someone who is not single. I mean, if this other girl knew that arnav was engaged, and she was talking to him on the phone, and met up with him as well. Then why did arnav show himself or portray himself as someone who she could still physically approach. The issue lies there. Yeah, sure he forgot. He is human, well fictional human. haha. But still. As for drugging, dont worry. Remember the conversation between Minta and Khushi. The reason i didnt want khushi to immiately say something is because what will she do when Arnav is gone to med school. hmm? HE needs to change his approachability. If that even is a word. Nadia was sent. yes. for sure. For a purpose. YEs for sure. I needed to send her for a reason. heheh. there have always been people who will want to break up someone. To have a relationship or a bond that doesnt break against all odds is a miracle sometimes. Yes they love each other, to the ends of the world, but will their love last? hmmm.

yes she has!!!! She can make thunder storms. Buttttt. will she? hmm. now that is the question. I needed her to come in for a crucial role. Or to help the story progress to a specific point.

As for khushi, she will. In due time. She will. Dont worry. The only thing is that, this time khushi was able to know someone elses intentions. What will Aranv or khushi do when he is away? He needs to be able to make himself not that approachable in terms of physically allowing people to come close to him.

Chapter 92

He then slowly placed it back onto his heart. He placed his left hand ontop of her right hand.

Arnav: feel my heart beat?

She sighed and nodded.

Arnav: It only beats for you. And you only! I swear.

Khushi: I know,but then why do others try to come near it?

Arnav smiled but stopped, he saw a concern on her face. She wasnt telling him everything. He brought his right hand and held onto her the left side of her neck. He made sure to place his thumb near her jaw. Then then gently brought up his left hand and caressed the right side of her neck in the same way. She kept her gaze fixed on his heart. He pushed her head up a bit and slowly leaned in and placed a kiss on her forehead. She closed her eyes. It was just his touch, his sensitivity and his love towards her that could help calm the storm that was arising in her heart and soul. He slowly moved his head back and tilted his head towards the right, leaned in and placed a kiss on her left cheek. She softly smiled. She felt a slight tickle on her soft cheeks from his stubble. He felt her smile. He moved his head back and, gently rubbed his nose across her and tilted his head towards the left. He then placed a soft tender kiss on her right cheek. She gulped. Her heart was starting to beat faster. With every touch of his, she started to feel more at ease. He left his tender lips on her soft cheek for a few moments. With every passing second, their hearts started race, but also came to more ease from their turmoil.

Arnav then slowly started to move his head back. Khushi held on more tightly to his shirt with both of her hands. Arnav was surprised. She didnt want him to move back. She wanted him closer. She opened her eyes but kept her gaze down. She was shy. She gulped. He then slowly tilted her head up using his thumbs that were caressing her jaw. She slowly raised her gaze to meet his. She looked deeply into his brown eyes. He looked into hers. She wanted him closer. Her eyes beckoned for him to be near. A small smile crept onto his lips. He looked more deeply into her eyes. He noticed a sparkle in them. He always knew how to read her eyes. And if he was not mistaken, then,did she want.. No. That was not possible. Was it? She shyfuly looked down. She knew he read her eyes. She had a small smile play on her lips. She sucked in her lips. And as her lips seductively slid out, she bit her bottom lip. His small smile grew into a big smile. He would not let this opportunity go. Ever! He slowly leaned into her face, gently rubbing his nose against her. Just playing with the tips of their noses. She gulped and sucked in her lips. She closed her eyes. He leaned to the side of her face and whispered in a soft husky voice.

Arnav: I have always read your eyes. And if I am not mistaken. You.. want..

She scrunched her face and bit her bottom lip. He gave a small chuckle.

Arnav: You want..

She gulped and closed her mouth. Kept her eyes closed and smiled.

Arnav: say it..What do you want?

She gulped. He gently slid his two hands down her neck. Making sure to slide the tips of his fingers against her soft skin. She felt a tingling sensation as his fingers moved down her arms. She gulped. His fingers came down to her elbows. Since her hands were still holding onto his shirt. He then gently placed his hands on her waist and pulled her in.

He moved his head back and she opened her eyes. She kept her gaze down, lips sealed, but couldnt manage to control the shy smile that was creeping up on her lips. He loved the way she was shy around him in matters like this. It was this trait of hers that drove him even more insanely in love with her than before. If that was even possible that is. He slowly leaned his face more into hers and started to rub the side of his nose with hers. He again whispered,

Arnav: Khushi,I want you to say what you want. Please.

Khushi sucked in her lips and shyfully shook her head. Arnav smiled. He moved his head back. He then gently brought up his right hand and gently rubbed the tip of his thumb against her tender pink lips.

Arnav: Meri khatir.... just.. say it....once...

she gulped and closed her eyes. In a broken, soft voice she softly whispered.

Khushi: A ....

Arnav: A..

She started to take deeper breathes. She gulped. How was she to say it. He smiled and softly opened his right hand and caressed her cheek. He then slowly slid it to wrap around her neck. He leaned into her right ear. He then whispered in a soft husky voice.

Arnav: A?

He then wrapped his left hand more tightly around her waist, bringing her more into him. Allowing no space to be between them. He felt her smile. He felt her gulp with his right hand that was caressing her neck. She was nervous and shy. He smiled decided to say it for her.

Arnav: A touchhhhh...

She scrunched her face and held more tightly onto his shirt. She bit her bottom lip. Her chest was heaving. He smiled. Finally he thought. He was happy that khushi was actually able to express her physical desires from him. The sparkles in her eyes spoke to him, and he was able to understand them. The last time, they allowed their lips to touch was right after the engagement when he found out about Shyams truth. It had been such a long time. He gulped. Both of their hearts started to race faster. The anticipation of their tender lips being able to sense each other was causing goosebumps all over them. She slowly slid her hands up and onto his shoulder. He moved his head a little back and placed a gentle kiss on her right cheek. She closed her eyes. He closed his. He then slowly lifted his head just a bit. And started to gently slid his lips across her cheek towards her lips. But this time, he left his lips parted. Khushi could feel the warmth of his breath crashing against her cheeks. She knew he wouldnt kiss her. She trusted him. And he knew very well that she was not ready for a kiss. Just a touch to make her know and feel secure with their relationship. She felt his lips nearing her. She gasped for air and slowly parted her lips as well. The tips of his lips just gently touched the tip of hers.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. They both stopped and moved back and opened their eyes.

Aranv had anannoyed look on his face. He leaned his forehead against hers. She giggled, licked her lips and opened her eyes.

Arnav: What the. Now? Seriously!

Khushi started to giggle, she then whispered back.

Khushi: better luck next time. Heheh. She moved back. He pulled her back in. He squinted his eyes, raised an eyebrow and gave her a glare.

Arnav: dont move. Not until I touch, or we touch. You are not moving from here!

Khushi looked at him in surprise. she sighed, smiled and then softly spoke.

Khushi: Arnav,someone is at the door. Yeh phir kabhi.. hmm.

She gently cupped his face with her hand and placed a tender kiss on the other cheek.

Aranv sighed but didnt seem very happy. Finally they were going to have some more intimate moments together, and someone just had to come and ruin it. Since the room was a bit dark, khushi didnt notice but her lipstick left a bit of a mark on his cheeks. Just a small outline or shine,enough to show that she placed a kiss there. They heard someone softly whisper.

Nadia: Khushi? Are you sleeping?

Khushi started to silently laugh.

Khushi: apki dost Arnav. Your bff.

Arnav: She is not my Bff. She is just an F. And you, are my GFF. Girlfriend forever.

He winked at her and she just shook her head.

Khushi: Tom was right, you never leave a chance to flirt.

Khushi moved back and started to walk towards the door. Aranv thought of something. She was upset because of the closeness that Nadia was showing.

Arnav: ek minute.

Khushi stopped and turned around to face him.

He walked up to her, grabbed her duppata, took it off. Held it in both hands and flung it around. Now her duppata was behind his neck and the two ends were off his shoulders from the front, just like guys would wear their stole on a sherwani. He noticed that she still had a bit of lipstick on. He gestured her to go. She was shocked. What was arnav up to?

Khushi: Aisay? Seriously!

Arnav: Go!

Khushi looked at him angrily. She turned around and opened her door slightly.

Nadia: Hi, sorry, I hope I didnt wake you up.

Khushi smiled and nodded her.

Khushi: No no.I was up. Just.. catching up on something.

Nadia: I was looking around for Aranv, needed his help for editing my paper. Do you know where he is?

Khushis eyes were left wide open. She smiled and gulped.

Khushi: um...ahem.. Arnav. Voh... ahem.

She felt someone pulling her kameez from the back. Not just tugging, no pulling her back. She looked down, blushed and started to walk back. Nadia was confused. As Khushi walked back, her chest started heaving againt. She was a bit shy and embaressed. As khushi walked back, Nadia noticed that khushi wasnt making any contact. She opened the door. Arnav kept on pulling khushis kameez back slowly. Nadias eye were left open. Arnav was in her room, with her dupatta around his neck,smiling seductively, with a raised eyebrow. But he wasnt looking at Nadia, no. His face was turned, and Nadia noticed a lipstick mark on his cheek. He was looking at khushi. The smile on his face showed a desire, a love, a passion. Khushi gulped and walked back until her back hit her chest. Arnav then slowly and gently wrapped his arms around her waist.

Nadia: I..I ..a.. I am sorry for disturing you .. two. I didnt know. Sorry.

Nadia felt a little embaressed. Aranv looked at turned his face and put his face onto of Khushis shoulder. Khushi tried to free herself. While trying not to move her lips she whispered to him.

Khushi: Aranv,let go.

Arnav ignored her. Khushi still tried to free herself. Arnav started to smiled as she tried to wiggle her self out of his arms. Nadia looked down and closed the door. She left and went back to her room. She didnt want to let anyone see her eyes becoming moist.

Aranv chuckled and finally let go of her. Khushi turned around, put her hands on her waist and looked angry.

Khushi: yeh kya tha?

Aranv had a mischevious smile on his face. He moved forward, grabbed her waist and pulled her in.

Arnav: that.. my love. Was love. Nothing else. Kyon?

Khushi: Aranv. Hmm?

Arnav: You said that I dont act like I am engaged right. Here, Now I did. I dont think that anyone else will want to come near me.

Khushis eyes were left wide opened. Arnav was acting like this just to show Nadia.

Khushi: You acted like this just to show someone else?

She looked at him angrily. Arnav realized how she interpreted what he said.

Arnav: No, no .no. Not like that. no. Argh.. no no. Shoot!

Khushi pushed her self away and went outside the room. Aranv followed her. She stopped, turned around and gave him a stern look. He looked at her and stopped in his steps. He saw her slowly walked towards her. He started to pray for his well being. She came up to him, grabbed her duppata, huffed and went towards his room. She knocked on the door before Aranv could stop her.

Nadia opened the door. Khushi softened her face and looked at Nadia. It seemed as if she was crying. But managed to wipe her tears. Khushi tried to smile. She looked over her shoulder and saw Aranv walk up and stand behind her.

Khushi: sorry, voh. You needed something. Everything ok?

Nadia smiled and nodded head.

Arnav: yeah sorry, we . I mean I should have noticed that you were there. Sorry,I didnt mean to make you feel uncomfortable.

Nadia: no no.You guys dont apologize. I didnt realize that you guys also needed your own time. Because of me here, you guys have to .. hide behind the doors. Sorry.

Nadia looked side to side.

Khushi: Nadia,we were just about to have a cup of coffee, would you like to join?

Nadia looked up and saw Khushi smiling at her. She smiled back. Khushi was a genuine person. Maybe that is why Aranv loved her a lot.

Nadia: No no,you guys enjoy. I just have to finish editing my paper.

Arnav: Is that why you were asking for me?

Nadia: yes,actually my Grammarly wasnt working, so I was wondering if I could use yours.

Arnav: Sure.

Nadia moved to the side to allow Aranv to come in. Khushi looked down still trying to force a smile on her face. Arnav noticed this. HE would have walked in, but noticed that would upset Khushi. If he was ever to go into a girls room, then that would be hers, and hers only.

Arnav: Bring it outside, I can sign in there for you.

Khushi silently sighed. Arnav smiled and looked down. Nadia nodded her head.

Arnav went and sat on the sofa. Nadia got her laptop and went and sat beside Aranv. Khushi noticed this and remembered what he had heard Nadia say earlier. She went to her room and got her text book. She went and sat on the sofa infront of them. Folding her legs up making sure that she sat down comfortably. Arnav looked at her, raised his eyebrow and smiled. He thought that she said she wasnt jealous, but the way she was acting was adorable.

Aranv: Khushi, can you make me a cup of tea, please.

Khushi looked up at him, smiled and nodded. She looked towards Nadia, and Nadia politely shook her head and said no. Khushi went and made a cup of tea. By that time Nadia was already logged in. As khushi was bringing Aranvs cup of tea to him, arnav leaned over to Nadia and softly whispered to her.

Arnav: Hey,Nadia, can you do me a favour.

Nadia turned her head towards him and had a huge smile on her face. She looked at him with love.

Arnav kept his eyes on his laptop.

Arnav: Actually, if you dont mind, can you sit on the other sofa. Wanted to sit beside Khushi. Hope that is ok?

Nadia gulped. Her smile disappeared. She tried to forcefully smile and nodded her head. She got up and went onto the other sofa. Khushi noticed it and looked at them. She walked over and gave Aranv his tea. Arnav put the cup on the coffee table. Khushi grabbed her book and was about to walk back to her room. Arnav grabbed her hand and looked at her. She turned and looked at him and smiled. She was confused as to what he was stopping her for.

Arnav: just finish your readings here. I also have some of my readings to complete as well.

Khushi smiled,looked down and sat down. Arnav moved his laptop and grabbed his books. Khushi was about to sit beside him, but he gestured her to sit on the other side of the sofa. She was confused as to what he wanted to do. She smiled and obliged. She sat down, folded her legs up and started to read. Arnav turned his body around. His back was now facing her. He looked over his shoulder towards her.

Arnav: Khushi..hands and legs. Please.

Khushi looked at him and started to giggle.

Arnav: jaldi. I am waiting.

Nadia looked at them. She smiled a bit. She saw genuine love between them. They were truly made for each other. Khushi moved her legs down and her hands up. Arnav layed down in her lap. He bent his knees up and rested his book against it. That way he was able to read while laying down in her lap. Khushi was also getting her readings completed. Without even noticing, one of her hands automatically went towards Aranvs head. While reading started to gently comb her fingers through his hair. Gently and very slowly. Her delicate fingers would sometimes play with his strands of hair, sometimes just comb through them, sometimes just rest her fingers while leaving them fanned through his hair on his head.

Nadia gulped as she saw them. They both were in love. True love. Arnav was never like this with anyone else ever. He seemed happy. Yes, she was heart broken that she wasnt the one whose lap he lay in, but she saw him happy. Aranv started to yawn. He was starting to get tired. He stretched his head to both sides. Khushi raised her hand seeing him stretch his neck. After he finished he brought up his hand, grabbed her hand that was combing his hair, and brought it a little forward. He pulled her hand infront of his lips. He placed a gentle kiss in her palm. He looked up at her and she looked down at him. They both smiled and sighed. He then looked down and put her hand back onto his head. She smiled and started to comb her delicate fingers through his hair again. A long time passed and khushi was getting a bit tired. But she continued to try to comb her fingers through his hair seeing how much peace it gave him. He noticed this and again brought his hand up to hold onto hers. She smiled and looked at him.He pulled her hand forward and placed it on his chest and held onto her hand. She licked her lips and fanned her fingers out to hold onto his heart. He intertwined his fingers with hers.

Nadia turned her head around and looked at them. She gave a half smile. She took out her phone.

Nadia: Aranv. Khushi.

They both turned around and looked at her. She took a quick picture of them. They both smiled, while khushi shyfuly looked down. She sucked her lips in.

Nadia: i hope you guys didnt mind me taking a picture. I will send it to you guys in the morning. I am off to bed. See you two in the morning.

Khushi looked up at her and Aranv turned his head towards her. They both wished her goodnight. Once she left, Khushi looked at Aranv. He looked up at her.

Khushi: arnav, yeh kya tha? Hmm. I know you.

Arnav: nothing. Just felt like laying down in your lap. That is all. Why?

Khushi: Are you sure that was the reason? Hmm.

Aranv smiled at her and winked.

Arnav: Engaged hoon. Right?

Khushi was left speechless. She smiled. He loved her. She just mentioned to him her fears, and he started to make sure that her fears were put to rest.

Khushi: Well,now no one is here. So I think you should get up.

Aranv looked at her in confusion.

Aranv: khushi,I did not do this to show off to someone. I dont think I ever will be able to do something with you just to show off to someone. When with you, I just see you. No one else. Hence I cant even think of showing something off to someone else.

Khushi smiled,leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. She left her tender lips there for a few moments. Her hair gently rolled down and slid against his chin and onto his neck. She raised her head a bit and looked at him.

Khushi: I know.

Khushi sat up and started to read again.

Arnav: Khushi it is getting late. You should go to bed. Hmm.

Khushi smiled and they both got up. They noticed Aranvs room door open. Nadia walked outside. She had changed into her night suit. She wore a thin strapped tank top with shorts. She had her robe on. Khushis eyes were left wide open. Aranv immediatly looked down and then towards khushi. Nadia immediately wrapped the robe around her.

Nadia: sorry, I thought you guys would be sleeping by now.

Khushi gulped, Aranv looked at her, cupped her face. She looked at him. He reassuringly blinked his eyes. “Trust me” is that all that said to her. She smiled back and went to her room.

Khushi thought that she should have told Arnav about what she heard Nadia say. But after she spoke to Minta, she realized something. That for this time, in terms of Nadia, Khushi was here. She heard her say something. What would happen if something like this happened while Arnav was in Med school. How would she be able to protect him there? He himself would need to be able to portray himself in such a way that another girl would not approach him in that way. She felt disheartened. She knew she trusted Aranv, but Arnav needed to realize that he had to change. Or did he? She was left more confused than ever. She reminded herself that right now the problem was Nadia. Nothing else mattered, the other things they could deal with after.

Aranv layed down on the sofa and closed his eyes. Nadia went and stood beside Aranvs sofa to ask him something.

Nadia: Arnav,what is your plan for tomorrow? I mean, I needed some help in the afternoon. If possible that is.

Aranv kept his eyes closed and one arm rested across his face on top of his eyes.

Arnav: um..tomorrow. Ahem. Afternoon.

Khushi stood behind her door. She was worried. She had a bad feeling. She had to think of something. Something fast!

@ bold - The way Nadia is sashaying around, accidentally on purpose interrupting Arnav and Khushi's alone time, I'd say the answer to that question is a yes. And that picture she took is so finding its way into the wrong hands!

I'm happy to see Khushi is asking herself the right questions though. I'm sure she'll share them with Arnav soon enough. Hopefully before any damage is done.

Setting all the above aside though, it was lovely seeing the care and love they share. And the way one stern word from Khushi is enough to stop Arnav in his tracks ;)

Nadia is going to show that picture to someone. Maybe the person who put her up to the task. Why is Khuhsi taking all the burden? Arnav is finally putting some distance between Nadia and himself, once he realized it. It took him a long time to make that realization though. Khushi had to spell it out to him.
