Arrey Bhetupunha, this is a good movie. ( I have this DVD in my library😊) Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt...I doubt anybody can recreate that chemistry.

She is torn between luv of her son n real love. That soham needs a slap on face, i think thats why if women r financially independent it empowers them. She has been verbally abused by son n father in law . Its kind of domestic abuse.

Feel sad for her but she has to grow a spine.

People like soham just try their power over weak but in reality r very coward.

He is giving her such a guilt n now she is buyin that expensive watch. Shame on him😡

Totally agree with you! Soham needs to be exposed. He has already lied about his friend and taken Asa's money now he is using his office funds. He is lying to Shubhra, Asa and everyone and when it comes to confrontation, he plays a victim card...

Asa shows courage to return the watch back to AR and expresses her displeasure verbally, then why can't she do the same with Soham?

@ana - Not only does Somya play victim card but he constantly belittles his mother. Every time mentions that he is the breadwinner and that Asa has no knowledge of how to earn money; conveniently forgetting that Asa is earning from the profit share she gets from AR.

Also, he alleged that the poor Kaka-kaku stole 'his watch'. Asa should've yelled at him for that. Her reaction was 'moolmoolit' as always.

Dear folks , do you really think woman of around the age of 50 who must have been born around 1970s can do what ASA is shown doing ? Selling mangalsutra and all..... I firmly believe - no. CVs are just using very old & outdated themes like natasamrat natak like theft allegations on old people, selling mangalsutra for grown up children's needs or gifts etc. But women of 50s are much more firm , stern & modern than this antique piece called Asawari. While spolit children like babdya continue to be there in every generation, the ways to tackle them are certainly changing.

Forget about women from 1970s, my Aaji who is 95 has more self-esteem than Asa. 🤔

Asavari looks like a sample mom from the Black & White movie era. The earlier she acquires a spine and starts standing up to Aajoba and Somya, the better it will be for the serial.

Somya's constant tantrums and irritated chid chid is now getting on the nerves. It is time Shubhra seriously takes up the job of disciplining that brat. May be, starting with a tight kanakhali awaz (Director Mayekar permitting).

Mishkil, Mukta & Kamal, agree with you all.

Age doesn't matter as far as self esteem is concerned IMO. Asa need not have to be loud as like Pradnya or Aajoba but at least expected to be firm on her thoughts. She showed such firmness while returning the watch and justifying the same to AR.

As Shubhra said, chuk hi chuk aste. By covering Somya every time for his wrong deeds, Asa is doing the biggest mistake. Even yesterday, she could confront AR for gifting the watch but couldn't utter a single word when Somya was insulting her way of parenting or suspecting Kh couple openly for stealing the watch. And that irritated me the most.

That is what the CV's have been trying to show. The contrast. Asa is very comfortable in being assertive with AR but abjectly surrenders when Aajoba or Somya start their verbal assaults.

This point has been done to death in these 100 episodes and so now it is time to move on to the next stage where Asavari learns to stand up to the brutes.

Seriously? 1.5 lakhs chya ghadyalacha hatta? What are you? 14? If somya knows what it is to earn every penny, to asa hatta kasa Karu shakto? Unreasonable! I understand if he's a teenager with weird hormones, but this is a grown ass married man!

Don't even get me started on selling her mangalsutra for a 1.5 lakh ka ghadyal. Too much. This is is what I was referring to when i said earlier that asavari Che sauskar kami padle.

Also, wouldn't he get sacked again that he has used his office ka money to buy that gaming thing? What happened to that? To track visarle ka?
