I think this track was just to bring AR down to earth. Asa has now drilled into AR's head that she hates being patronised. From here on we would expect AR hesitate in "gifting" things to win over the Kulkarni family members. That's my view.

The way I understand AR's character, he did not give gifts to win over Kulkarnis other than to get in good books with Aajoba. He is selfless like that and not materialistic. Some people are generous and love to shower others with gifts.

I think it is just CV's going overboard presently (for the convenience of the story)to paint Somya so bad. No way that Shubhra would have not known that Somya was such a bad egg during their college years if he was really so bad. I don't think such traits could have been kept hidden for very long from a smart and intelligent girl like Shubhra.

If you remember, in an earlier episode AR had opined that to win Asa he would have to win Kulkarni family members (which obviously meant aajoba and Somya). IMO he might have thought that one way was through gifts to Aajoba and Somya who were the ones likely to oppose. But with today's episode he has been made to realise that this way will not be appreciated by Asa.

Let us see how he changes his approach.

Never in the episodes so far has any "physical attraction" been implied or promoted . It has been scrupulously avoided (and still managed to make the serial interesting). That, actually, is the biggest plus point of this serial.

We have had torrid romances, ugly kat-karastans, physical/implied violence and marital infidelity as centre pieces of present day serials. This serial comes as a whiff of fresh air. It is like after having Chana Masala, Veg Kolhapuri, Pizza and Pasta for many years, you long for the home cooked Waran Bhaath.😊

Arrey sir, I am not talking about torrid physical relationship☺️. Even in companionship, physical proximity(not physical relationship) is implied else it looks funny🤔. Both of them looked so stiff in that pic and were so far away from each other, I could not help but rofl 😆.

On an unrelated side note. They should make a Marathi serial on this😛. It is one of my favourite movies. This scene, I just could not help smiling 😆 . He wants to sit on stairs outside her house

It was really heart wrenching to see asa in tears when that ungrateful soham was emotionally black mailing her. Poor thing has lost so much in life that she is so helpless . She is torn between luv of her son n real love. That soham needs a slap on face, i think thats why if women r financially independent it empowers them. She has been verbally abused by son n father in law . Its kind of domestic abuse.

Feel sad for her but she has to grow a spine.

People like soham just try their power over weak but in reality r very coward.

He is giving her such a guilt n now she is buyin that expensive watch. Shame on him😡

One does not need to show overt physical attraction or proximity. For the sake of television which is usually watched by everybody in the family, it's better that these things are implied. You can call me old-fashioned, no qualms about that tag. 😃
