Also..Revathi was Kalpana Iyyer's name..and Irrfan Khan played her hubby..
so there..the list is endless..why not name the series..BAB in the 21st century..lol..

they picked 'gulmohur' too...wah td copying their own serials...what creativity NOT!!

i liked the show in d begining but now its becoming too much like bab that its irritating. i made a new topic on this not knowing this thing was being discussed. evry single incident is the same. please ask directors to change story else it will get too predictable i can tell d whole story right now and it will come true 😕

sure..id love to see serials like banegi apni baat...it was soooo progressive, fresh, different...and DJ's shows are usually different...but this is an out and out remake of their very own serial...what sense does that make...

there are some minor changes..there wasnt a shekhar..but yeah, there were ppl like him...hmmmm...i dont know...it seems weird that they'd remake BAB...! i wish they were more serials like banegi...on similar lines...but not soooo similar that it hits you as being...oh, just the same thing..

im very animated on this topic..because BAB, was my fav serial..and even when i watch it today...it seems as fresh...and brilliantly natural!

Yes, the similarities struck me from the very start. I think maybe TnD got nostalgic for their first show and decided to remake it. Bad idea: its hard to improve upon the original. Even though I like RKB, if it is succesful the credit will always go to BAB, so what's the use? 😕
