Sona choosing to not want further contact (at the behest of her mother) is acceptable when in that situation the culprit was clear. Nishi accepted what she did and yet did not apologize. But unlike Rohit, Sona did not make an attempt to financially destroy the Sippy’s. She also never yelled at Rohit talking crap about his class or profession. Rohit wanted forgiveness because he didn’t like anyone thinking bad on his family not because he actually cares about the harm that was done. Hence being angry with Sona for not accepting his apology and fighting over that stupid chair.

In Pooja’s case, Sona jumped up on stage to help Pooja. And she was literally on her knees saying she didn’t do it. Yet Rohit physically accosted her, degraded her for profession and financial background and then put such lawsuit in an underhanded way which didn’t allow them any time to prepare a defense and literally landed her mother in hospital.

In both cases, Rohit and his family owes the Rastogi’s an apology.

Sona put her own life in jeopardy while going to Pune for Mahtre’s function. The woman could have been raped or worse all help Rohit’s family. But she saved herself and then she saved Rohit’s life. She helped him with his fake gf case. She saved Rohit’s life again when he stupidly went looking for Mahtre instead of waiting for the police.

When you compare the 2, he has done very little towards her and if anything makes everything about himself. She had to comfort him in the car that he won’t lose her.

At this point the guy is a prototypical narcissist. Even any good thing he does is about retaining his source of narcissistic supply. It’s about care and concern for another human being.

Ouch that's pretty harsh about Rohit characterization....

Rohit is a very relatable character in this series and actor Karan portrays it brilliantly.

Seen many shows where MLS disrespect fls esp in romantic series (read Gul Khan ones) and the fls have no spine at all.

But I find both Rohit and Sona to be very equal in terms of their strengths. See everytime Rohit insulted Sona, she gave it right back with interest. One of the reasons their bantering looked very organic rather than the forced ones...

Rohit is a very humanized role on reel this very relatable. Till now I have never felt Sona as a victim in ronakshi scenes. That's a very refreshing take on couple.

How I would turn the Precap on its head:

Turns out that Rohit was yelling at Raima or Naren, and Sona was trying to stop him. And he says he doesn't wanna talk now🤣

Then he yells his head off at Naren for asking Sona and family to leave, and Raima faints🤣

Seriously?

1. The only time she reacted, and that is read ignore him was when Nishi sent her mom to jail saying they stole a watch. And the damn watch was on Rohit's wrist.

She didn't even file a defamation case. I wish she had.

2. Pooja case. How exactly did she get back to Rohit for accusing her of being involved in it? By agreeing to go to Mhatre's wedding? They didn't even apologize to her. 4 dholwalle bhejna is not an apology.

Do tell how she gave back to him in equal measure? I would like to know. Seems I have been watching a different show till now

Also, this FL is also pretty spineless. First she was letting Suman and Pari walk all over her, and now it is Rohit and his entire family.😆

Ofcourse Suman is a money-minded devil. But atleast she knows how to stand up for herself, probably more than required.

Sonakshi has been turned into the worst doormat of a female lead by writers. Usse toh Suman achi. Atleast no one can walk all over her. Obnoxious as she is, at least if someone insults her, they will get it back in good measure.

And Rohit Devta needn't spend days seeking forgiveness. Since, till date he has not apologized for the pathetic behaviour he has displayed, at not one but multiple instances.

And thanks to the CVs, Sonakshi has 0 self respect. So apology ki expectation bhi nahi hai. I would like to see any girl here say that if they were at Sonakshi's place and had been insulted so badly, they would've forgiven him and pretended all was ok. I would really like to meet such a devi.

I am sure all 'Hyper Fans of KHKT' will agree. But its ok. As per you Rohit is 100% correct and deserves to be forgiven immediately. Oh wait! He never apologizes🤣

As of now, Suman, Rohit, and Sippys are all on the same level. As you said 'excuse of human beings' and also thankless. Yes, that is the level CVs have ruined Rohit to. I would like to pretend Pari does not exist.

Also:

1. Sona has to marry Rohit. Not Suman. If Rohit is as bad as Suman then what is the point. She should just stay alone. Atleast Suman cant kick her out of her own house.

2. I didn't know its wrong to expect basic humanity and decency out of a partner. Trust is the basis of any relationship, wahi nahi toh kya relationship.

3. Why does Rohit do such things ki sorry bolna pade? Every 2 weeks he has to make a fool of himself and walk around apologizing? Can he behave in a way that does not lead to him having to apologize? We also want the Rohit that was there in the first week. Intelligent. They showed us Rolls Royce and it turned out to be an Ambassador.

I just can't believe people are being called hyper for expecting basic stuff out of the male lead.

Weren't they supposed to meet at the destination at a given time. Wasn't she sitting in her car? Didn't he approach the car and drag her out?

Absolute rotten eggs to the CVs for showing her dumb enough to not lock the car, who does that? Or atleast try to start the car and maybe run Karan over. But seriously? That was anything but 'she did not wait for Rohit to meet Karan'. She wasn't exactly meeting him.

Sonakshi has done immensely dumb things and devi acts in the show, but this was hardly one of them. And yes, not 'apparently selfish and thankless'. He is selfish and thankless.

Also, Sonakshi's dumbness takes the cake in instances such as:

1. She took off to meet Mhatre without telling anyone.

2. She was even refusing to tell the police why she was getting blackmailed by Mhatre.

3. Not filing a defamation case against Rohit and family for accusing her mom of theft.

4. Trying to help Pooja despite being humiliated and manhandled at the event; and being accused of orchestrating the malfunction.

5. Not slapping the face off Sumit.

6. Not putting Suman and Pari in their place. Infact Pari should be kicked out of the house.

Ya! I think we hyper fans are expecting too much sense from the writers. Writers are hell bent on ruining both leads.

Sonakshi was always a gone case for not having guts to stand up against her own family. Now Rohit is on the way to becoming Kabir Singh 2🤣

Hyper hona banta hai😆Maybe I have unrealistic expectations but:

1. I expect the main lead not to manhandle (push or pull the FL)

2. Show some sense, instead of yelling at the first hint of a problem.

3. Think and react

Female lead:

1. Have some self respect: Sona has none

2. Not try to be mahaan: Sonakshi is always trying to be Parvati

3. Not be overextending and Ms Goody 2 shoes

4. Say enough is enough, instead of letting everyone walk all over her

But its ok, shayad zyada maang liya.

Khair, lets see what they do with the show next week. I just saw now there are 4 writers. No wonder the characterization of the leads has gone down the drain. First they ruined Sona, and now they finished Rohit.

But hey, maybe that is just us. People seem to be liking the story, since we are the ones being called hyper😆

I am pretty offended by some comments here.

First of all, we are viewers, not blind fans! That's the difference, we question and criticize. Fans lap up any crap they are served.

I have been here since day 1 and till now no one has resorted to name calling. It is really unfortunate that the level of the forum has degraded to this.

Such shoddy writing of characters by CVs is being justified and supported, and forum members who discuss the show together each day are being insulted.

I guess this is how it is going to be from now on. Very sad state of affairs indeed. Looks like its not just the show that is going downhill.

This used to be a good forum where every character was bashed and praised when they deserved it. Now I guess characters' wrongdoings will be justified because of the actors playing the characters. Actor pasand hai to sau khoon maaf.
