The day women leave such guys behind and proudly move on with their lives, we can hope for equality. 😆

No. As per Indian laws, a mother is given preference in custody battles.

The custody of children below the age of 5 years is by default given to the mother unless the mother is proven to be unfit for raising the child. Children above the age of 9 years are given a chance of choosing their custodial parent.

Plus, if I am not mistaken, the fact that Prerna is married will also go in her favour, but not sure about this

I see where you’re coming from. But, the question of why Prerna hid the paternity of the child even when it was basically confirmed that Anurag and Prerna were going to get married will come. I know what you are saying and I agree on all aspects on Prerna getting ample opportunities to tell Anurag about it, I have no idea why she didnt, this season I have stopped questioning her actions. 😆 But from legal aspect, one can always argue that once she is dumped so brutally, she could take time to recover emotionally and may be, just may be, her faith was not restored fully on this guy that she could trust him with this very personal secret before they get married. Yes it's judge to decide, but after what Anurag did, in real world it's pretty much open and shut case.

I feel Prerna is going to give this child to Anurag to raise. That's the only way to calm and tame this obsessed guy. Last time it was to take Anurag out of depression as he went into shell, this time it is to put him into his shell cuz honestly he is all over the place. 😆

Hey sorry, i am butting in this convo. But i just couldn't hold my self back after seeing this comment. What you said about real life is true fact. No girl would want to sympathise with this kind of guy in real life because females are becoming mature about their decisions in real life and not taking things for granted. As for the show goes i don't think what you say applies to prerna at all (as per story). When she found out about her pregnancy and anu's marriage that time it was perfect for her to take full charge of what she wanted to do with that kid and that reason was justified. Consummating without protection and that also consent from both is absolutely between them and no person should judge about what people should and shouldn't do since they made the decision on their own. Blaming anu solely that he impregnated her and wants to take away his rights only applies if the person knows that you got pregnant and dumbed or decided to abandon you after the revelation but that was not the case here. You only do blame game when you have spoken the truth but another person is not ready to accept it. If this goes to court though no law is logical in EKTA world but as normal logical situation both parties are at fault. The court will ask PRE why she hide it it in the first place if she thought the guy was at fault from start till now. later if she thought anu is a characterless guy(just referencing it) then why again started seeing that guy and decided to get married to him after he left you for another woman and later you marry someones else without justifiable reason to hide the pregnancy from him. Her case got weaker because she had a chance to come clean but she didn't reasons known to her. I have seen comments about how a woman gets right in India fine i am not aware of that but that doesn't automatically take rights of fathers away. In any case, Anu is wrong or should held responsible for whatever you mentioned above is when he knows that PRE is pregnant and no one imagines that all consummation leads to pregnancy possibility yes but that doesn't mean guy alone is at fault. Anu can also fight that PRE had kept the pregnancy secret and has taken the discussion without his acknowledge and married someone else even though they were on the talking term and he was ready to corporate but never even gotten any chance. Both are at fault but more so PRE as per the story.Joint custody is maybe a solution to this unless they mutually agree to it but pre taking a decision on behalf of Anu without his acknowledgement and giving that child bajaj's name is plain wrong. Makers have not disclosed the reason behind her hiding truth CVS might come up with some story but how convincing and truthful it is time will tell and then people are free to judge pre and anu both. Until then both are equally at fault and more for pre.

Pregnancy track is USP of kzk. Writers aren't going to take it easy. I feel the motherhood track can be planned for a year.

Lol! What a way to cause more drama in the show. In all honesty, I do believe Anurag should win custody of his kid because Prerna will prioritize Kuki more and I bet, because of her carelessness towards her own child, something tragic may happen.

The show did hint that Anurag may get the child (jail scene with prerna- He'll take care of the baby and stay with him/her)
