It definitely is. But why use an old interview from 2011? Does he not have anything interesting to say now? Or they wanted to connected the loneliness and detachment angle with the last paragraph of how he’s happy happy now? Why was Katrina completely ignored? I guess brining her up would have negated his claims of maturity and learning from mistakes.

Actually I’m wondering if this is Alia’s PR? Around Kalank release when Jitesh had asked her about dating someone like Ranbir she had answered that everyone has a past and who cares. This whole he’s grown now, and “love of his life” makes me think this could be Alia’s PR.

Yeah and paints him in a very not-a-cheater but a loner with noone to share anything and trying to find a girl he makes him feel settled narrative. Its a positive article. And last time the last bit and movie promotion in the article reduced it to Deepika's PR so this is RK's if we go by that.

Alia's PR always tries to erase Katty from the story because she gets maximum amount of bashing for breaking girl code or whatever. Her current chumminess with DP is planned. She wants people to think that Kaka dated DP then he fell in love with her.
