I think the uproar is more because here we have the main leads doing unethical things so the idea of perfect couple/soulmates is being butchered. Audience can not view them as role models of a perfect relationship anymore. (#couplegoals) Karthik is no longer the dream man women aspire to find in real life. This is a marriage where they have only been together 3/10 years. If Vedika/Karthik marriage is presented as legal in the show then Naira comes across as someone interfering in their marriage. Anyone coming between a couple is considered a bad thing. The uproar is also there that Karthik and Naira are made to do unethical things that goes against them being portrayed as the perfect couple.

@rose what more uproar would they show more than Badi Dadi slapping her?...maybe they should have shown them pushing her or throwing her out of hospital when her child was battling with life and death...they had been constantly taunting her or didn't even once tried to talk to her...to understand her perspective...if her father and mother would be there...they would tried to understand her....they could have shown a reaction similar to Kartik...he was happy finding her alive but after understanding the situation he started confronting her with questions...there is no evidence regarding her faking her death from legal perspective...I'm not saying what she did was right...but she  abandoned them all rather than staging her death or herself leaving evidences like blood marks, dead body or belongings to be declared dead by court...whatever she did doesn't come under pseudo suicide or fake death...maybe she could get punished legally for separating a father and child...but child's custody for initial years is given to mother...she could easily prove to court that she was afraid of losing her child because of stress and depression being a patient with history of brain clot and memory loss due to depression....that's why to save her life she had to abandon them all to stay away from stress...Naira and Akhil both can get punished for promoting bigamy...There were no clear evidence of her being dead...but there were evidences of her being alive atleast before 2nd marriage there was eye witness Akhilesh who saw her alive...but he still let the 2nd marriage proceed to cover up his infidelity infront of his family...Naira herself let her husband get remarried despite of being alive...so they can get punished for that...

So far mostly they have just shown Naira facing both families not public humiliation like press going after her and the Goenka's being questioned what is going to happen now that Naira has come back. Will they kick Vedika to the curb? Either way showing how the humiliation is effecting the Goenka's business because no one wants to do business with such an ill reputed family. They haven't shown breaking news tv casts that Goenka dil presumed dead has come back alive and was living in Goa with their son all this time. Showing she has no family values since she had succeeded in running away before as a teenager. All I am saying they could have taken this further extreme if they wanted to show that but in ITV in this show only these two families exist in this world. Everyone else is invisible

For them to say they hope to go to 5000 episodes is wishful thinking because I think the audience will tire out of the same template being used and presented in different packaging.

read a logical statement that Naira wasn't missing but she actually died...she was declared dead by police officer infront of Kartik...therefore after her fake death...Kartik and Naira's marriage is null and void...as she wasn't missing for 7 years...but she was "dead for them" for 5 years...but the law says...

There was no evidence of Naira's death or even of Naira being alive...there were only speculations...as nobody saw crocodiles in water eating up her body...police officer didn't saw any blood as if crocodile ate her up there must be blood flowing in water...officers were tired of searching for Naira...even after that they didn't find any remnant of Naira's body...or even evidence of her death...he told Kartik "we fear that "maybe" your wife's body was eaten up by crocodiles in nearby lake"..."maybe" he was about to drink water from that lake and saw blood flowing...but even if the police officer saw blood...was that Naira's blood?...did he get the blood examined?...did he get DNA matched with her relatives?...or was it mere speculation?...if he had to prove infront court that Naira Goenka died in order to obtain death certificate...how would he prove it without her dead body or remnants or blood sampled of dead?....maybe what Naira saw...her funeral without her dead body the very next morning of her death and her family mourning over her death...or her Kartik considering her dead while talking to Mihir...can be an illusion? when she returned for baby and was ready to even forgive Kartik...can't the funeral and mourning be an illusion?.. maybe Naira planted her fake body there and let Kartik and family mourn for her...as CVs remembered they could have shown Kartik searching for Naira...so after 1-2 months of post leap episodes we saw fbs where Kartik actually searched for Naira...but he searched for her after mourning over her death?...otherwise either what Naira did was an illusion or what Kartik did was an illusion...coming to point...

What if court wouldn't be satisfied by officers assumption that crocodiles ate up Naira's body without any evidence...blood sample...DNA report which court would declared Naira dead? Maybe DKP's  unprofessional non-existent court?...

(b) the day seven years after the date they were last seen (if death is presumed by the elapse of time).

As police officer didn't prove infront of court that Katik's wife has died in blast or is killed by crocodiles or her dead body was not found...as there was no clear evidence that she died or not...so she must be presumed dead or declared dead by court...only than she would be considered "dead" not missing...Police officer himself make Kartik believe his assumption....Court didn't declare Naira dead...families didn't think of possibilities as Goenkas are not people who would waste their selfish energy in thinking about possibilities of a family member being alive whose dead body wasn't found...Singhanias have only single statement to explain every kind of situation...Akshara's dead body was not found and she is still dead...as Naira is Akshara's daughter so if her dead body is not found...she is 100% dead...like her mother...Without any evidence...without any court proceedings...without declaration by court...Naira can't be considered dead from legal aspects...she could only be considered missing...but as DKP wanted to show second marriage legal...Naira has to be dead according to all...without any legal declaration by court...that's it...but if DKP's logic is to be considered...than also Naira presumed dead.....according to law if she returns after 5 years as per section 107 and 108 of presumed death...she is still Kartik's legally wedded wife...

Kartik and Vedika's marriage is null and void from the time the presumed dead wife returned after 5 years...

absolutely  agree; my point also.  Viewers need to challenge what is being shown. TRP aunties also are aware of Kartik Vedika marriage being illegal once Naira returned. The CVs are taking people for a ride assuming any crap will be accepted. seriously, this is a disrespect of women = they are being shaped as characterless, with Vedika  all up in arms to challenge Nair's rights and Naira depicting the sati savitri who will be submissive about her right over Kartik. Why cannot CVs show Naira challenging Vedika's  relationship? TRPs seem to be the way to go even if it destroys Indian women's depiction in the media.

Null or Legal?

It's absolutely proving yrkkh just like any other show it is fiction so don't go into questioning about its content being realism. 

Vedika is pain in eyes so skipping everything whatever related even skipping naira scenes due to her. As Vedika the shameless has more scenes with naIra, SS whatever she is getting.

Talking about ending this crap drama, as Vedika and Kaira  track  literally started from janamashtami so it's only been 2 weeks, even though she was present in the show since past 3 months it was never about her, even wedding sidelined as it was not leads marriage though one lead was included but unlike other shows in Yrkkh third angle haven't given importance during shaadi. It was kaira face off build up, face off and kairav surgery were main focus during wedding. Despite shooting wedding they didn't show it coz they know this 4 point mark is coming from Kaira so didn't bothered to show and wasted entire cast and crew timing n effort.

Basically Vedika and Kaira track just began, so her going out like  now is doubtful also insecurity crap and stuff is next which is a  progression like snail nothing else.

Only relief is her character is not permanent but a unbearable extended cameo.

Legality of  wedding, if they are confidently moving ahead claiming kaira wedding is illegal, what I can forsee is they will drag and bring to a point where they can show  Kaira grand wedding yet again. Yrkkh bina celebration is lifeless. Crap!!

And  I don't think so yrkkh people will get affected with trp and change the track, they will showbwhat they decided from the beginning until channel interfere,  if we take  mihir track, it had low trp after blockbuster track like puru mama, and promo of questioning really affected trp but still makers didnt bother to bring any channge they taken their own pace and completed the track in sad note, and still continuing depressing track.

So far execution of episodes has been fantastic though content is crap, and general audience they  don't even realise Vedika also is there in GV. Until last week where she had few scenes with naira. Otherwise people were in world of kaira and kairav. Now trp started losing it 4  point spot. And audience started understanding whole picture  which were not so visible before.

Anyway, we can expect Kaira wedding yet again. Now it will look like a joke.
