yeah thats what I am TRYING to convey since the beginning of this thread.

and as I said earlier as well, most importantly, Akshay had NO NEED AT ALL to give up on being an Indian and to get a Canadian passport as he is NOT A COMMON MAN who needs it to support his family and for a better future for his kids... he is already VERY VERY INFLUENTIAL and EXTREMELY WEALTHY that uski generations bhi araam say baith kar khaa saktee hain... this just proves that he has almost no value for desh bhakti as there was NO DIRE NEED AT ALL FOR him to change his passport UNLIKE an ORDINARY COMMON MAN for survival purpose.

Akki is a bandwagoner, he'll do what sells.. His masala films were flopping at a point and he decided to do comedy.. Later few of his comedies tanked too so he took on the desh bhakti mantle..actually he took the mantle from Aamir, rem' Sarfarosh, Lagaan, Mangal Pandey? Aamir started it

That’s called being professional actor and giving audience what they want and at the same time improves himself as an actor in diverse genre, there’s no reason to shame him for his path he takes.

If his path promotes offscreen propaganda and deshbhakti then he deserves every brickbat his way.

Akshay is first and foremost a businessman but honestly at least he is doing these movies and they are a part of mainstream now. Not that nationalistic/social issues related movies were not there before but scripts like Airlift, Baby, Special 26 wouldn't have been picked up by most of the mainstream stars we have. So I don't see what's the problem if he's doing these movies. He's in this for the profit but if it helps a social cause or makes us aware about our own country I don't see a problem in it. It's a free country, any actor can choose the genre he wants.

His patriotic films r working..He is getting offers to do them and audience likes to see him I'm those.movies so he does them..uski marzi

And again..TEPK, Padman,housefull3, Jolly LLB2 aren't patriotic.. Haven't seen Rustom but heard the story..Don't think that too qualifies. U can add Airlift to your list though.

John also does Desh bhakti movies with Indian passport..What does he need to prove?

And by that logic all those people who have given up citizenship of their country of birth for some other country don't love their nation?
