On Tuesday, before the cylinder delivery, Soham was talking about 1 lakh debt. Yesterday it was mentioned as 30k. Did I hear it wrong on Tuesday or that's another debt? Where he spent the money? No need to portray him so spoilt... Rather than that send him US for work.

Yesterday, it was a lecture about the thankless job of house wives. Soon, we will have a demo about how to manage monthly house expenses 😉...

Actually Shubhra should have said, Aasavari earned 70k by working for just few hours as compared to both of them earning after working hard a whole month. But looks like the writer was so much into that poetic dialogue that she miscalculated the salaries.😊

Exactly. That makes more sense.

He probably invested 1lac by borrowing 30 from Harish. And lost the entire 1lac in some fraud scheme, so tya Mitrache 30k pan panyat gele.

I am sorry that the serial is now going into "standard" mode with Soham eyeing the 70K of Asavari and lying to get his hands on the amount. It would have been so refreshing if he admitted to either Shubhra or Asavari about the financial mess he has fallen into and the family decides jointly that the 70K should be spent to get him out of the mess (and in the process that worthless Soham learns how selfless his mom is).

And yes, I think I too had heard the financial mess figure of a Lakh in earlier episode but now turned into 30K. Not sure if they are two different issues or he invested 70K from his pocket and 30K from his friend.

Yes, that would have been nice. I'm of the opinion that people do get influenced by TV. Instead of promoting lie to show how bichari and bavlat your heroine is, how about show us some family moments, where the entire family is backing you in your crisis.

Real families help their kids out in such times,they are your support systems. My mom has selflessly given all of her savings once, when I really needed it. It is quite normal out there.

Confessing would have made Soham a little less unlikable.

@bold- yes, that is what real families do. They used to show this in TV serials in the late 80s and 90s. Some web series still show that. eg. Yeh Meri family. But in typical serials they have tormentor/s and victim/s. And sadly AS is going the typical route.

Yeh Meri Family is one amazing webseries, you connect with it on so many levels. I remember watching the episodes multiple times, and crying every time when the song "Dhaaga" plays. Such a beautiful bond.

They could have shown so many beautiful tracks in this serial, like the small interaction between asavari and aajoba was really sweet. But what they're focussing on is Sohams tantrums.
