tbh a ban doesn't stop people from watching films or enjoying music, i have indian friends who still enjoy listening to rahat and atif and as pakistanis me and my family still watch indian films and tv shows, entertainment is a universal thing that everyone enjoys

i don't think they are banning it with the intention to cause any financial loss to bollywood, they are banning it to show they disagree with modi's decision about article 370, the same way india banned Pakistani artists to show solidarity to their soldiers after uri
