Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai S2, your choice?

Hey guys,

Since the talks of S2 are going around and there's suspense. If anyway it materialises, what do you want to see in S2?

I would say "surprise me." 🤗

But the option is not there. So anything with nostalgic flavor which will connect me with the story and the era. Something fresh, teenage with normal family drama and lots of fun .

You want to see nostalgia and anything related to 90s era, right?

Different story. Chewing gum se darr lagta hai 🤣 it will ruin up whatever good memories we have of the show .

I go with option 2...if s2 it is... then i would prefer proper end to samaina story with less of idhar udhar ka tp....and start fresh story with ashdeep set in the 90s👍🏼

But at the same time it will be optional na,😆

New story woh bhi same theme pe i,e on 90s era won't be a fresh concept IMO aur ek hi theme pe stories banane ki kya tuk banti hai?

I feel Samaina story needs 2-3 more months for smooth closure and they can do it with S2.

But then their names will be different, character sketch will be different. Pata nahi but such S2 never struck right chord with me. There was one Marathi show Dil Dost Duniyadari, S1 was very popular and then they came with S2 with same actors and different story and characters. I couldn't connect with it and in general it didn't get good response and had to shut down soon. This types of S2 are big gamble, so personally I'll prefer option 1 only.

as i said in a post on your thread, shows like yud come once in a while which cant be recreated again. it wont be the same again ever! the feel of first 100-150 epis was something else.

You're right about DDD 2 ...it turned out to be a damp squib...actually i am not for s2 at all..i just want proper end to samaina story...but if at all they want to make s2...then im not sure i want a continuation of samaina story...i feel it will just be a stretch...but ya...to pull off same magic again with new characters will be a challenge for sure...for the makers writers actors ...everyone

Well here’s a thought for S2. When I looked at the poster, the look was ofcourse what Ashdeep wore to the set that day and not Samaina. But if you look from Samaina’s perspective, Sam looked like a cool hero while Naina looked, elegant, modern, yet simple.

So S1 could always end at Sam landing a role in a show and S2 could be Samaina’s story where Sam becomes a famous Bollywood star and Naina a famous writer/ producer and together they are a formidable duo. The challenges they face en route to stardom. Difference of opinions, challenges of balancing their professional and personal lives etc. just a thought!
