Afaik he treats his staff and crew really well his team has been working for him since the begining. Never hard of him being cheap with the crew prior to that Satte Pe Satta remake blind. But Rohit is very adamant on making films within a certain budget, read an interview in the newspaper long ago where he said that he is very strict with the budget... This profit sharing deal was negotiated because Rohit was unwilling to pay Ranveer his market price in the first place.

Is Rohit distancing himself from Karan? Why suddenly he is being projected as a kanjoos cheapo and unethical partner?
