The new set of star kids have made Alia look like a novelty now.

So I tried the cloves on lemon piece trick to ward off flies. Suffice to say I was met with staggering failure.

And as an insult to the injury the flies seem to have taken a personal interest to rub the failure in my face by chillaxing on the said piece as if it was some sauna bed or something. I'm sure I saw two of them chest bumping from the corner of my eye.

So now that piece of lemon looks like a spa center for the flies or a piece of some voodoo magic for suspecting eyes. 🤷

Just use a fly swatter dude. Handy and exempt of any extra jhanjhatt. Also stimulates your non-existent shooting skills.

I have one stuck near my bed side table. As soon as one enters my territory: *thapaak*. Flies are now considerably wary.

I don't have the heart to actually squish them. And plus the gooey mess that it will create.

In the beginning I was capturing every single one of it in the cup and releasing it outside. You know the way Amrish Puri does in DDLJ. Jaao...Jaaoo..jee le apni zindagi. Finally got tired and tried this one.

Speaking of squashing them, prior to my extreme sensitivity days I did day dream elaborate plans of setting an example for the rest of the flies by displaying the slain one. Me in gabbars costume laughing hysterically. But never actually got around to implementing it.

Flies are evil reincarnated. The more you are lenient, the more these demons, dance around your head. You can practically hear them saying: Haan bhai, kaisa diya...

On the contrary, squashing them gives real satisfaction, the kind of, you feel when you pass an exam on the score of above the failing line. A lemon clove or coil won't do. (Yup, sadist here)

The best way is to set an example. Only then, these annoying creatures learn.

Absolve your inhibitions and you will succeed.👍🏻
