No, the actors and the producer said there was an important message behind this in that Dawn article. It better not have been "Do rukhsati ASAP" because a) that's what usually happens b) If Sadia was living with Ahmer and the same situation happened, he'd have still divorced her.

I read the article and saw the ivs too, yes they did mention about rukhsati fast e.t.c which imo is pure nonsense Bec you are right ahmer still would gave left Sadia. The only difference would have been that sadia now would have been pregnant with ahmer baby not Umair. But her hardships would have been the same. Martial rape is ignored by the writers,Why they took that route. Disappointing.

So far I have loved sadia umair chemistry even though umair is a compete jerk but hope post wedding zubi ahmer get good scenes too. I want to watch development in umair sadia angle
