Father can claim but for that mother must be proven irresponsible & incapable of deserving child's custody & child should be known to be suffering from abuse in his household.

Custody laws, pregnancy laws favor women all around the world. It's extremely difficult for men to win them because woman is considered to be more involved in birth of the child.

Law will not provide him custody if Prerna doesn't agree to give up the custody no matter what & if Prerna proves herself to be perfectly capable of taking good care of the child, then there is no way law will separate child from mother. Anu will have to prove that he can be a good parent to the child which Prerna can't be.
