lovely post, and true this show has truly highlighted daily issues and one such issue which they raised in yesterday's episode,

a gross difference in the thought process in today's time and back in that time is also well shown,

Indeed I am glad I stuck with it instead of switching shows because those who left would miss out on this golden period..

really? what do you mean by gross difference? would like to discuss this further

Sims one more beautiful post.

I so agree the journey to stardom is not easy for a regular and common man out there

as well as its not just women who face harassment men face it too

and our show proved it again

similarly like women are uncomfortable talking about it men are too

that is the reason Sameer wasn't able to share this with Rakesh

I ought to fall in love with our show time and again because its magic

Exactly I too noticed this..after that casting couch scene Sameer's eyes lost their innocence and when he hugged Aditya his gaze was dark, haunted then when he came home and asked straight for Naina I could sense his unease and how he wants to share it with her which is why he shirked his gaze from Rakesh and lied.

Another subtle scene was when Aditya came out of the office the two looked at each other and knew what had happened to both of them and ran away.

That's why we love this show so much. No other show can beat yudkbh. Unique, simple but magical! 466 epis and it's still ruiling our heart.

A tv show where they highlight such sensitive issues- find me another?? you cant because most tv shows lose their good concept after 100-150 episodes and here is our show..Episode 466 that address issues like male casting couch and nepotism. I love that the camera never shied away to block our view of what was happening- nothing was implied it was all shown. That's why I love this show to bits. It made us uncomfortable so you could imagine how uncomfortable Sameer and Aditya would have been.

While many shows have portrayed work place harassment or bosses hitting on women, they have not done so to highlight the issues. They have done it for the drama quotient. Our show showed the reversal of gender roles. That yes there are women who take advantage of men and especially so in the film industry. It wasnt shown to up the drama quotient but to highlight what ordinary people go through- how tough the journey to stardom is.

And here the writers once again played a masterstroke by weaving together the narrative of nepotism in the film industry. Earlier too it was subtly hinted at when Naina had made the barsaat reference but in yesterday's episode it was stark and hard hitting. That star kids don't have to go through struggles and manage to get roles even if they are not talented. Here we have people like Sameer and Aditya who truly love their craft, are talented but do not get roles unless they pretty much are forced into a situation where they have to sell their bodies.

Honestly I am so proud of YUDKBH that I feel like going to every other show's forum and saying see what our show has managed to do. This is the best show and it deserves all the Trps it can get.

Bingo, u states a correct issue,

Yesterday, I was discussing wid my cousin that our bollywood industry is ruin by nepotism, as wen we see so many star kids w/d talent getting a role but who truly deserves doesn't have anything, yes then there is a viciciousness of casting couch too.

It's not only women but also men faces it n neither they e comfortable wid. Adityaz plight n dailouges were to the point

Yes this show teaches us many good lessons though.

Where bollywood is beaten by nopotism n itv by scrape scripts. Youth find there taste in online portal.

Yes me and my parents were discussing this issue too. There are so many star kids who are coming up and yet they lack the charisma and screen presence. And those who do have these skills dont get very far because of casting couch and struggle.

This is what I loved. They showed that male gender too go through this. Its not just the women who are victimized but men too. This is what feminism is truly about.

YUDKBH deserves an award of critical acclaim I swear. It has the best content, progressive attitude, and not to forget writing.

I read this quote the other day that 'this generation has lost the simplicity and innocence to fall in love' and I so agreed because I had seen the love story between Sameer and Naina. Despite all their hardships and struggle they are determinedly standing hand in hand with their purity intact- true love does that to you.
