U can't compare both! It is obvious Khilji was a periodic character but supporting Kabir means desiring to be one in modern world.

Khilji was not portrayed as hero but villain in every sense. He was not worshipped but infamous. While KS is idealized as hero.

Padmaavat was just a fictional movie. Khilji was actually sophisticated and never ate raw meat like a barbarian. Rana Safavi, a historian, has actually cleared that up in an interview.

Secondly, Khilji was not a lusty womanizer, the guy actually banned prostitution during his reign.
