That evening..he was waiting for her at the garden as usual.. But She didnt come, as it had started to rain suddenly. He came back home..disappointed. Whole night he couldnt sleep. His thoughts kept wandering to her and he couldnt wait for next evening to come. He kept turning & tossing in his bed..cursing that sudden rain coz of which his fav routine got disturb.. & after alot of struggle he finally got some sleep..much later at night!
Next morning..
He woke up with a slight headache in the morning coz of so much thinking & very little sleep he had got last night. His thoughts were still filled with her only! So he decided to go on a walk to get some fresh air & refresh his mind as well.
Early morning walk did help him a little. But in that fresh air also lingered her thoughts as fresh as.. the air around him!
He couldnt stop thinking about her..however hard he may try.. So he just stoped trying that & allowed himself to get lost in her thoughts.
Maan was coming back from his walk..still thinking about her. He was looking around abesntmindedly...when his eyes spoted the object of his interest...more precisesly, the person who has been ruleing his heart & mind.. unintentionlly!

He couldnt belive what he saw. There she was..standing on the terrise.. just a few blocks away from his own house!
At first, he just got lost in the beautiful sight of her. Those long dark locks were wet from the shower..and she was trying to dry them with a towel... Looking as fresh as morning sunrays & as pure as a dew drop! Her total concentration was on her task at hand..that she was totally unaware of his constant gaze on her.
On the other hand, he was so mesmorised by her that he didnt realised anything else. When she moved her hair at one side with a jerk..some water droplets splash around..and on impulse, he closed his eyes as if those droplets had actually touched him!

That jerk broke his tarnce, and he realised that it wasnt any illusion or his imagination like he had thought earlier.. But she was actually standing there!
The one person who has been driving him crazy.. The person, he has been craving to get a glimps of.. Whom his restless eyes were searching everywhere... And finally, where did he found her?? In his own neighbourhood!!!

He had heard that a new family had moved in their neighbourhood..but hadnt paid much atteintion then. Now he cursed himslef for not listening his mom's talk when she was telling him about their new neighbours!
After compeleting the kota of his staring session without attracting any suspicion..he came back home..with intention of getting as much information he could get.. about her from his mom.. But he was careful enough to not to create any doubts & sound as geniuen as he could.
So, he got to know that...its Kapoor family...they have moved-in just a few weeks back. But its not her family..actually mrs.kapoor is her maasi..and that kid "aayu" is her maasi's son.. Her cousin. And the most important thing.. Her name is "GEET"!!

Now a days..his fav corner in the house was his balcony or tarrice..from where he could get a clear view of her house, tarrice & balcony..as her house was in the lane across the road.
He often found himself peeping from his balcony..hoping to see her around. And his luck was in his favour..so he would often see her..sometimes at tarrice in the morning..mostly reading. And sometime in evening..playing with Aayu in the porch or at tarrice.
He would spent hours..just looking at her! And she would be totally unaware..lost in her own self!
Again he was sitting in his balcony..watching her, as she was standing in her balcony.. speaking on phone with someone.."may be her family"..he thought! He couldnt help notice her each & every gesture..like how she was making differents faces while speaking..how she laugh in between..how her eyes twinkles while she talked happily.
He kept looking at her without blinking... And as if on sensing his intense gaze on her..she looked around for a moment. He immediately hided his face behind his book..which he was pretending to read!
He was not the only one getting affected by her..it seems everyone in their neighbourhood was getting fond of her. All the aunties & even his mom praised geet for her simplicity & warm nature. And she has become popular in kids too..as she would play with them daily.."she has become the leader of their gang"..he chuckled with that thought!
As she was quite beautiful..so she was getting the male attention as well.. But but.. She is so innocent & naive..that she was completely obivious to that fact!

He came running down the stairs & rushed out of the house. Actually he had been waiting for her in the balcony when he noticed her going out with aayu. So he rushed behind them..not wanting to loose this golden chance to spend some quality time around her.
He quitely followed them..as she & aayu were busy discussing about how many chocolates he would get & how he shouldnt eat many as its not good for his teeths!

He was loosing it! And he knew it very well! It was not just attraction..like anyone would say.. But he knew that it wasnt! It was something much more deep..and it kept increasing everyday.
She has captured his heart completely! His mornings starts by seeing her on the tarrice & nights ends with her thoughts & if he got lucky enough..he would find her in her balcony..enjoying the cool air of night!
He used to get impetient if he couldnt see her for coupal of hours. His gaze would be fix constantly on her house. His life has started to revolve around her only.
Seeing his changing behaviour, his bestfriend Aadi, has asked him directly.. "who is she??" He knew there was no point in hiding anything from aadi & he can trust him with his secreat..so he had told him everything. Aadi had laughed at him hearing his situation..he said that maan was behaving like a love stuck puppy. And then he had asked the most important question.. "Does she know that u are interested in her??"
And the realisation hit him hard.. She doesnt know anything! She was totally unware of his feelings towards her & his presence around her!
Now he doubted that if she even knew that someone named as "MAAN" even exist in this world!

The thought that she didnt even know if he exist?..made him restless. Here she has become so much important to him that he couldnt stop thinking about her, cant stay without seeing her.. And there she was..totally unware of him & his feelings!

As days passed...It was getting tough for him..he wanted her to know him..feel his presence.. He wanted to tell her, how he felt about her..he wanted to tell her that how she has been affecting him & his life so much! He so badly wanted her to notice him!
That day, she & aayu were playing cricket outside, infront of her house..her new girl friend from the colony & few other kids were also with them.
How could he miss that chance...so there he was..sitting comfertably on his bike..pretending that he was speaking to his friend..but in reality..his concentration was on her only! He litreally had to force aadi..as aadi was scared of getting caught.
To anyone else..it would look that he was really busy with his friend & was unaware of all happenings around him..but the reality was completely opposite. He was well aware of her every movement. He even noticed when she casually had looked their way a coupal of times..& he was really happy with the progress!
Suddenly he asked aadi to go on a walk & confused adi agreed. She was about to throw next ball..but stoped & waited for them to pass by. When they were crossing her..he couldnt help looking her way.. And in that exact moment..she too looked at him.. & for the first time.. Their eyes met!
The moment, for which he has been waiting for so long..finally came! And this time he didnt averted his gaze..he looked directly in her eyes.. And to his surprise she too didnt break the eye contect!
And that made him more determind to make her realise his presence as well as his feelings for her.
