Post the phenomenal success of
Padmaavat', Deepika Padukone was all set
to begin shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's
next, opposite Irrfan Khan. The film
tentatively titled Sapna Didi' was touted to
be a gangster flick which would see the
Piku' co-stars reuniting on-screen for the
second time. However, the film was put
on the back burner after Irrfan was
diagnosed with cancer, for which he is
currently being treated for abroad.
Reports now claim that Deepika has
returned her signing fees to the director,
and allegedly conveyed her interest to
work with him once Irrfan has recovered.
Meanwhile, wedding preparations seem
to be on in full swing, as the actress is
getting ready to tie the knot with her
longtime rumoured boyfriend Ranveer
Singh. The couple has reportedly opted
for a destination wedding in Italy, where
they will exchange their vows in the
presence of close friends and family.
