Some people trying to bring padmavat suceess down but i think its huge hit despite ban in 5 big states and got only 3500 screens to ban in many states and crossed 300 cr did 302 cr some saying oh it did in all language so it crossed 300 cr but reality is its still bollywood movie not telgu movie or south movie so dubing in other lanugage matter not means movie turn south movie its still bollywood movie so padmavat did 302 cr despite ban it could cross 350 if wasnot ban in many states iam sharing facts here😊 which is showing suceess dmavat / Padmavati Total Screens Count:

If Padmavat had released without the year long drama...without that massive hype...ALL OVER INDIA...it would have made less than 200 cr...yahan people are crying ki Gujrat mein nahi release hui...the massive hype earned Padmvat more than double of what it would have earned without a hype in Gujrat and Rajasthan..😳

Oh please. Padmavat had months long publicity by constantly being on TV, everybody debating about it, plus Karni sena doing his nautanki on the side, and even Deepika and SLB giving dramatic statements of nobody can stop this film from releasing! It was a whole drama outside of a drama. The whole controversy was in the news even internationally, which drove forward even the publicity on the international scale amongst the desi community. No film in recent times has gotten this much and this prolonged free publicity. When you make people so curious about what is so controversial in the damn film, then forget bans and less screens, people are bound to come in droves.

Ban is the reason it got super publicity, so it is not something you can say hit despite ban, as the banning drama played a huge part in generating interest in the movie.



but I agree had it released in all states, it would have been the crossed the 3crores footfalls in Hindi language, as the movie not only had huge opening but also had good WOM, hence it was running for so long.

I want to bring this to your attention that Padmaavat was really shitty movie , not to forget acting of Ratan Singh , Padmavati and Khilji .

Non-Khans and their excuses. In last few years at least 5 Khan movies were banned in Pakistan, Khan movies can make 12-15 cr in Pakistan. How many Khan fans made excuse topics on that?

Padmavat is much better than shitty biopic sanju ! Atleast they showed khilji as khilji and not whitewashed him and blamed his womanisung ways on media/journalist/ or on praja ! Had it released in other states without ban it would have crossed 300 crs easily !
