For starters, let me say that I haven' watched a single avengers movie after ironman 3- so when I walked in for IW I was introduced to a truckload of new characters and a few things that I didn' fully understand.

Anyway, I am not asking for a summary of what happened up until IW. But I just have one question: why did some people (dr strange, spidy etc) disappear at the end of IW while others (iron man, captain, thor etc) survived? I am really confused.

Because they are hotter! 😎
