Sexual assault case filed against actor Jeetendra by his cousin

A case of sexual complaint has been filed against veteran actor Jeetendra by his cousin who has claimed that the Bollywood actor had sexually abused her when she was 18 years old. According to his cousin, the alleged case of sexual harassment happened when she was 18 years old while Jeetendra was 28 years old, a year older to her. The complaint was filed in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday. According to reports, the victim decided to file a police complaint after the demise of her parents, who would have been heartbroken, had they got to know about the sexual abuse by Jeetendra, their nephew.

As per the complaint, the victim revealed that Jeetendra took her father's permission to take her out to a film shoot. He later took her to a hotel room where at night, being in an intoxicated state, the actor forced himself upon her while she tried to fight back. The victim wants closure and justice for the mental trauma she suffered for years after the alleged abuse. Considering that Jeetendra, the accused, is rich, powerful and politically well-connected, the victim and her family have requested the media to keep their identity a secret, according to the law.


Jeetendra who is a popular Bollywood actor, is also the chairman of Balaji Telefilms, Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment. He has featured in a number of films like Sanjog, Aulad, Majaal, Justice Chaudhry, Mawaali (1983), Himmatwala (1983), Jaani Dushman (1979) and Tohfa (1984). He is the father of actor Tusshar Kapoor and director-producer Ekta Kapoor who runs Balaji Telefilms. The veteran actor is married to Shobha Kapoor.

Hope more women come forward. Bollywood needs to be shaken up.

since there is no time limit when criminal case can be initiated
she has come forward at the time that suits her..bt determining
the merit of the case n verifying the truth will be difficult as
lot of time has elapsed in between..
her justification that she wanted to save her parents from heartbreak n grief
might be genuine ..so at this point of time its best to not pass light comments
n let more evidence n counter evidence be produced to reach to some logical
conclusions..

Wow. I am so proud of her. This just proves that any sort of assault just stays with you forever. Victims never forget. Am so glad she came forward. I hope justice is served. I want Ekta to support her. She talks big about women empowerment. Lets see. This must be shocking to her, her own father being such a piece of shit.

She will be silenced by Ekta.

Actually in this case , her coming out now after all these years along with justification she gave makes total sense to me . Can you imagine the heartbreak of her parents if they came to know that one of their close relative , nephew etc who is like a son to them and whom they trusted has betrayed them in this way 🤢
