This OS starts from the present day in school when Naina has finally received what she was craving since a long time...her father's love and affection along with appreciation in his eyes...which is there only for her today when she has won the award for the best student of the school. His words that he recited as his poem just for her...somewhere they were still echoing in her ears as she descended down the stage happily with tears of happiness in her eyes.
Beti ek pita ke liye kya hai mushkil hai batana
Us Rab ki jaise ek dua hai aaj maine bhi jaana
Laati hai Jeevan me khushiyan hazaar
Deti hai sab ko dil se bahut sara pyar
Jise na de saka main aaj tak kabhi laad pyar
Par usne mujhe humesha diya samman aur pyar
Aaj mujhe hai aap sab se yeh kehna
Sab se anmol hai mere liye meri beti Naina

She didn't realise that two eyes that were experiencing every single emotion along with her were watching her coming down from behind and were constantly following her feeling relieved to see her smile at heart...that smile which has vanished away just because of one mistake...rather a sin from him...he had led to this pure soul who knows just how to love and help others into a hard rock person who has forgotten all her love that she had in her heart. Sameer knew that she is struggling inside to keep him away from her as she considered him her biggest mistake in life. Now he is determined to make her happy once again and win her love back so that she herself accepts that he is her biggest happiness in life and he is doing everything possible for this without caring for the result. Today with his efforts he could bring her close to her father and he even made him recite this poem which he had written.
Naina came down the stage and straight went to Swati who was waiting desperately to give her a hug. Swati ran upto her and took her in a tight hug and both the friends were very happy today.
Swati: Naina aaj main tere liye bahut..bahut khush hu...yeh trophy to dikha... wah...kitni achhi hai... aur sabse achhi baat ki ispe tera naam hai...sach Naina yeh award tere sivay aur koi deserve nahi karta...
Naina: par sab se achhi baat pata hai kya? Ki mujhe yeh award mere Papa ke haath se mila hai... isse badi baat kya hogi mere liye? Aaj pehli baar unhone mujhe pyar se gale lagaya...mere sar pe haath rakha...aaj mujhe lag raha hai jaise mujhe mere Papa mil gaye...
Swati: tu theek kehti hai Naina... par tu ne to kaha tha ki Uncle nahi aayenge...fir achanak kaise? Aur to aur unhone tere liye ek poem bhi likhi... Sach Naina main to dekhti hi reh gayi... mujhe to apni aankhon aur kaano par vishwas nahi ho raha tha...
Naina glanced towards Sameer who was standing at a distance with Munna and Pandit... She knew her father could not write a poem...it had to be someone else who must have written this poem... is it Sameer who wrote this? She thought...but why would he do this and how come Papa accepted to recite his poem...she didn't have answers to these questions creeping up in her mind when Swati asked her to stop thinking about anything else and just enjoy this day which is so special for her. Preeti also arrived by then and both of them left for their home and Naina asked Swati to come to her home in the evening as Chachiji had arranged for samosas and jalebi along with dhokla which she would cook to celebrate her special day when she is the best student of the school.
Naina and Preeti left and Swati said to herself... Aaj kitne din ke baad Naina sach mein khush hai...
" aur wo kiski wajah se hai jaanti hai... Swati turned around to see Munna standing there. She tried to leave from there but he stopped her. She saw Sameer still standing at a distance looking at Naina who was going with Preeti.
Munna: Aye Pandit...ruk na... aaj Sipahi ko khush dekh kar hum sab khush hain...lekin yeh khushi jiski wajah se hai... wo wahan khada sipahi ko khush hote huye dekh raha hai apne khayalon mein (as Naina had left by then)
Swati: Sameer?
Munna: haan Sameer...usne hi yeh sab chakkar chalaya jisse uske pujya Pitaji is award function mein aayen warna wo to aane hi nahi waale the...aur who poem bhi Sameer ne hi likh kar di thi unko...
Swati: par wo yeh sab kyun kar raha hai? ab koi nayi shart lagayi hai kya? Dekho tum sab...
Munna: bas kar yaar Pandit...tu bhi na... kam se kam tu to humari baat sun le...ek baar thande dimaag se...
Swati agreed to listen to them and by then Pandit and Sameer too came there...Munna and Pandit told her about the bet issue as to how it started and how...during the course of the bet his feelings for her grew into liking and slowly into love which still he was unaware but they both were sure of his feelings. They told her that he was about to tell the truth to her himself but the circumstances took a turn and the bet boys revealed the truth to her before he could tell. He couldn't say anything that time as he himself didn't know how to react. But in the hospital when Naina came to meet him...that day he had accepted whole heartedly that he loved Naina and he would do anything to keep her happy. He was coming to meet her and tell her about his feelings when Arjun started the fight with him and accidently he slipped...and after that whatever happened she knows it well.
Munna: yaar Pandit...hum maante hain ki usse aur hum se galti hui...par wo sach mein usse pyar karta hai yaar...use ek mauka to de... wo bahut badal gaya hai yaar...
Pandit: kahin aisa na ho ki uski in sab koshishon ke baad bhi Naina use maaf na kare aur wo fir wo hi purana Sameer ban jaye jise kisi se pyar nahi tha... wo uske pyar mein bilkul badal gaya hai ... Kya tumhe iska badlaav nahi dikhta?
Sameer: bas karo yaar tum dono... Swati... inhone jo kuchh bhi kaha wo sab sach hai...lekin fir bhi Naina ke upar koi zor zabardasti nahi hai...use bahut gehre zakhm diye hain maine... unhe bharne mein time to lagega na... main use poora time dena chahta hu... aur main uske liye sab kuchh karunga...use khush dekhne ke liye...chahe wo mujhse nafrat hi kyun na kare... Agar use mujhse nafrat mein tasalli milti hai to main usme bhi khush hu... tum bas yeh pen use de dena...meri taraf se gift...yeh mere Nanu ne mujhe diya tha...mere birthday par...isse wo aage chalke hum dono ki kahani likh sakti hai...tum please use yeh de dena...
He gave it to Swati and took both his friends from there...Swati stood there spell bound as to what she just heard and saw...is this the same Sameer Maheshwari...she thought...she looked at the pen and thought to herself...tu bahut lucky hai Naina... she smiled and went back home as she had to go to Naina's home also in the evening.
In the evening everyone was very happy as Naina was awarded today and Chachaji was proudly describing the award function and how Rakesh Bhaiya recited that poem for his daughter. Rakesh was feeling proud and everyone was very happy and so was Arjun. Swati came there and all of them enjoyed the samosas, jalebi and dhokla. It was a nice family get together and everyone was smiling today while Naina who was smiling but inside she was still thinking about the poem that her father recited. Swati took her inside and gave her Sameer's pen...she saw it and was about to throw it when Swati stopped her from doing that and told everything that they had told her. Naina somehow knew at heart that he was trying hard to get that forgiveness from her but the pain of first love wasn't allowing her to do that. She told Swati that this also would be some other trick from them and this time they have used her to convince her...but she won't melt down so easily and won't forgive him.
Swati knew the depth to which she was hurt and so she told her to take her own time and think and judge for herself. She also told her that she saw true love in his eyes for her and she understood love in someones eyes better than Naina as earlier she was the only one who used to ask her to be cautious and test his love before falling so deeply for him. But now she believes that he has changed but still Naina should realise on her own what her heart wants and she left after greeting everyone. Naina kept on looking at the pen and thinking about what Swati said but she wasn't able to believe that this could be true.
Everyone retreated to their beds at night and Naina who wasn't able to sleep as her mind and heart were in a constant tussle. She got up in bed and saw Pooja Didi not in bed...she went out to see for her and heard some whispers from the balcony. She realised that she would be talking to her fiance and seeing the time she went to call her back. She was about to open the door to the balcony when she heard her talking about their movie date recently. Naina was shocked to hear about the movie date as she wasn't allowed to meet her fiance before marriage now. While she was in her thoughts...Pooja came inside and was shocked to see her standing there...she felt as if she was caught.
Naina: Pooja Didi aap film dekhne kab gaye the? Aap ko mana kiya gaya hai?
Pooja kept her palm on her mouth to keep her quiet and took her outside to the balcony. She told her about the movie date and how Sameer had helped her when she was stranded alone at night time. Naina was surprised to know all this and wondered why she or Sameer didn't tell anything to anyone?
Pooja: Sameer ne mana kiya tha kisi ko kuchh bhi batane ke liye... Meri wajah se use kitni daant padi.. par ab tub hi kisi se kuchh mat kehna please warna sab mujhe bahut daantenge...
Naina promised her that she wont reveal anything to anyone but she herself was so confused... she didn't know which Sameer is the real Sameer? The one who had been involved in the bet or the one who was trying hard to gain forgiveness and to help everyone in the family...she kept on thinking...
" Kyun Sameer kyun... kyun tum meri zindagi mein aaye...tumhare saath maine who sab sapne dekhe jo kabhi meri aankhon mein aate hi nahi the...maine pehli baar kisi se pyar kiya aur us pyar ne mujhe sirf ek shart ka zariya bana diya... Mera dil tod diya sirf ek shart ke liye...ab jab main apni zindagi fir se shuru karne ki koshish kar rahi hu...to kyun tum meri zindagi mein wapas aa gaye... Tumhare wo sab sorry kehne ke tareeke mujhe mere adhoore pyar ki yaad dilate hain... mujhe aur dukh dete hain... Ab to tum humare ghar mein aa gaye...aur wo sab kar rahe ho jiski tumse koi ummeed hi nahi thi... tumne Arjun Bhaiya ko chot pahunchayi aur ab tum unki mada karna chahte ho...Pooja Didi ki madad kari...aur aaj mere Papa ka pyar dilaya mujhe...jiske liye main humesha tadapti thi... Aaj ka din mere liye mera best day ban gaya...sirf tuhari wajah se... kya tum wo hi Sameer ho jisne mere se badle ke liye shart lagayi thi? Kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki mujhe tumhe maaf kar dena chahiye...par main kaise vishwas karu tumpe? Kahin tumne fir se mujhe chot pahunchayi to...kahin fir se mera dil toda to...kahin tum meri maafi ke baad mujhse door chale gaye to...tab main kya karungi? Main fir se wo dard nahi she paaungi... Is baar to maine jaise taise khud ko sambhal liya...fir se aisa hua to main khud ko nahi sambhal paaungi...nahi...nahi maaf kar sakti main tumhe itni aasani se... par kab tak rok paaungi khud ko tumhe maaf karne se? .kyun kar rahe ho tum yeh sab? Kyun tum meri mushkilen bada rahe ho? Kyun tum mere dil se nahi nikal paate? Kyun Sameer kyun?
All these thoughts made Naina uncomfortable and she went back to her bed still confused of his feelings for her.
