.. is because she doesn't know how to be happy. No one else is really the reason for her "buri kismat".

She will always be crying... fighting.. making others suffer too..

Because she doesn't know the power of truth and simple/straight approaches.😡

There are better EK heroines, pragya is worst creation of EK in terms of character, remember Tulsi, prerna, kashish they were so much better in that era, it's 2018 now yet we have women like pragya ruling TV, men hardly matter in TV shows exceptfor romance.

The post is about being happy and regardless of how all those heroines handled situations in their shows ,they were not happy for a considerable amount of time ... Tulsi had to shoot her own son, live through mihir' s adultery and all those stupid viranis and ultimately had to leave her family, prerna was a swinging pendulum between bajaj and anurag ... EK Soap ki heroines aren't meant to be happy .

As far as characterization goes, for me both leads and even the villians, leave a lot to be desired but since the show has been a trp topper for so long , Cvs are satisfied with putting in the least effort required as it gets the job done without putting much strain on their brain cells.

I see Pragya's problems as self created. There's no need to go through all this crap in any track. She never prioritizes her happiness in her life. She wants to make her mother happy, dadi happy, all at the expense of Abhi's happiness and their married life.

In this track, they love each other and as a married couple, she needs to think of how her actions impact him. She went ahead and made the decision to lie to him and ruin his happiness and hers for Munni/kids. But she has not tried to find both of them. Abhi is criticized for not trying to investigate if she's Pragya or not. I don't think Pragya has investigated where Munni or the kids are either. She hasn't solved the problem she created for herself.

Hiding truth in every track has done her no good. And all her suffering mostly ends up looking meaningless at the end.

She says she puts others' happiness before hers. I don't see others happy either.

Neha, it may be true that EK's heroines are all like this. I haven't watched other shows. But it can't be a reason for such sloppy characters. It's one thing for female leads to struggle. Sometimes struggles are realistic and beyond female leads power to face.

But in this show, Pragya's enemies are taaliya. A simple phone call to the police or telling Abhi will end some of this useless drama at least for a short while. With all the knowledge everyone has about the villains in this show, none of them do the right thing.

Suffering raises trp's. But in this show, Pragya is never shown happy. Nothing has worked out in her favor. She has had no meaningful or realistic relationship with Abhi.

I wonder if Pragya is subconciosely taking revenge on Abhi for torturing,ill-treating and insulting her soon after marrying her with ulterior motive.A woman can never forgive such ignominy,though,she starts to care,have concern and then love him much later.

Yep, I too think this is her passive aggressive way of punishing Abhi for the revenge marriage. That's one interpretation. Sometimes I feel Pragya has split feelings for Abhi.
