So I've been watching the show everyday since the start of this season, but I've never really posted on this forum because of how heated things can get. Having said that, I feel morally that sometimes we must speak out about what we find wrong. As a viewer of Bigg Boss I've actually found myself quite neutral when it comes to the contestants in the beginning - I mean I wouldn't say I was a fan of any of them. YRKKH was never really my cup of tea despite it's beautiful sets and costumes as I felt Akshara was too pristine to feel genuine and my fondest memory of Hiten is linked to Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, which I remember vaguely and from so long ago that it does not make me vouch for him. For me Vikas Gupta was not known at all - I think I caught a clip of him interviewing Karan Kundra about his relationship with Kritika Kamra? Shilpa Shinde I recognised from playing the vamp for a while in Do Dil Ek Jaan, but I never watched the show that caused the conflict between the two, remembering Shilpa only because I remember thinking she was really pretty and had gorgeous eyes even as she played the mother of a grown son. Priyank Sharma I did not recollect at all, but I've gathered from the show that he works in association with Vikas Gupta? - I don't really know, he doesn't have a wikipedia page so I'm a bit clueless on himšŸ˜†. Obviously the non-celebrities were completely foreign to me, but from watching the show, I've begun to form opinions about everyone on it - because that's human nature, we can't be 'neutral' observers, because we have all been born and bred with the ability to form opinions. The thing is that across this particular forum I've read a multitude of opinions that are all well thought out and perceptive, the kind of opinions that can sway opinion and many of them have been contrasting each other. The opinions I mention are not the ones that call out the faults of one and excuse the other, but rather the ones that try to look at a bigger picture.
A lot of what happens in the house cannot be put down to wrong or right, no matter how much certain posts here or the host on Weekend Ka Vaar try to make it appear so. It's all a game of perspective and unfortunately everyone varies in this matter. Let us for example take the matter of the 'tap water'. Lots of people are here discussing who was rude to who, but the crux of the matter in my opinion is that there was a health risk there, it was detected and hopefully it will now be rectified. My personal opinion is that unless you have no other cleaner option, you should not be drinking any kind of unfiltered water - but hey, maybe that's just because my perspective is that of a Pharmacy student who constantly gets the dangers of certain bacterias and viruses drilled into my head. It is NOT necessary that anybody else agree with me - maybe the 'tap water' used in the house has magical mineral properties... I don't know, I've never tested it so in theory it's always a possibility. Those of us who are more experienced in the household and surpass me in culinary skills may be aware of a reason as to why 'tap water' was a viable choice, but personally the boiling argument did not sell it to me - you PERHAPS got rid of the bacteria, par bhai virus abhi zinda hai.šŸ˜† However, I'm always up for learning something new, so feel free to correct my misconceptions if you found them here😊.

I found that a lot of people have been arguing about how although her request would have been fine, Hina should not have demanded the change - I find myself agreeing and also disagreeing... I'm actually on the fence in this one, like when your friends are having an argument an you can't tell who's wrong and who's right. I feel Hina's reaction to the 'tap water' was totally expected of her - remember her defending Mehjabeen when Shilpa was complaining that she had criticised her washing dishcloths in the same wash bucket as she used for her private wear - but then Hina should have also realised that this would touch a nerve with Shilpa as they had argued then also. Perhaps Shilpa felt attacked and that is really an awful feeling (especially on TV), but the matter need not have escalated so far. This is actually the kind of clash you see in any household - hardly anyone likes to be called out on hygiene standards - so I was not on either side in this. The spectators however, were the real 'winners' of the argument as they got a new issue to focus on. You know Vikas really is a mastermind but the funniest thing is, I think he is in actuality a good person - he came here to play a game and he's playing it every step of the way... that's sincerity in itself, so I find myself shaking my head but grinning as he manipulates one and all like a total boss. Yes sometimes it wears on me a bit when he isolates one person, but I now his intentions are just in winning the game.

Arshi... what to say about Arshi? She's good. Do I like her nighties? - I'm afraid not. Is it my place to judge her? - of course not. Have I caught myself judging her? - unfortunately yes. It's something that I still struggle with in fact - I can't say I much enjoyed her hitting on a married man, but others have seen it as vastly humorous, so to each there own. But one thing I will say about Arshi - whatever she is everyone in the house knows it. one moment that really stood out to me and spoke volumes of the strength of character she holds within herself was the look of pure guilt on her face when she thought she had really hurt Hina's feelings during that fake trial. She tried to fix things, citing that perhaps she had misunderstood Hina's conversation with Sabyasachi, but obviously in the house conflict is celebrated not resolved and there were many there to take advantage of the ensuing drama. She may embrace taking up the role of the villain, but that's not what I view her as at all - she's a rebel with a cause.

I could go on for days about various housemates, but let me stop boring those of you still reading and get to the real reason behind this post. I was honestly sickened that I've read people justifying bullying today. Mocking someone's emotions regardless of your dislike for them is wrong. It's mean. I get that Shilpa thought Hina was acting, in fact perhaps she was - how can we really know? - but when somebody is broken how can you laugh? Hina Khan may have a thousand faults - I really don't know - but when did she mock a crying person? - and I bet this is where somebody pulls up a reference I missed of her doing exactly just that - but as far as I remember she hasn't. If she has then she is also wrong, but that in no way shape or form makes Shilpa right. Her behaviour is cruel. I did not find it funny or witty - it was pathetic, kiddish bullying and she should certainly be called out on it. This time I don't think its a matter of perceptive. This was wrong. Of course wiser individuals may have a more rational understanding of her behaviour, but it really rubbed me the wrong way, so please enlighten me and I will try to understand your point of view and perhaps that will make me less annoyed.

Thanks for taking the time to read my rambling.😊

It's fine, nobody was rude. If somebody actually read my POV and then commented I'm much more appreciative šŸ˜‰
