In school my teacher told me that respect is earned not begged... If someone respects me I will return the favor or if I see someone doing something that's worth respecting I will respect them... I am not going to respect someone because it's a woman... That's Sexism.. Not feminism..

Since week one when exactly has Arshi or Shilpa respected Priyank... I have seen them making remarks on his sexuality, his body, his face, I have seen them calling him Hina's dog or a bouncer... Why exactly should he respect them? I have not seen Arshi and Shilpa doing something which is worth respecting, what I have seen is that they have a pretty sick mentality against Parsi, LGBT communities and Black race... I don't respect them, I am not going to expect Priyank to respect them when he has been at the receiving end of their homophobic remarks...

That being said I would have respected Priyank, had he shown that he can rise above everything and has a moral conduct, which he does not... He chose to fight them on their level... But those two women majored in that particular level so they are beating him with experience...

I couldn't agree more... You loose your moral high ground once you stoop low

I agree with your post that both the women are not worthy of respect if they continously targeting his sexuality, humiliating him by showing sandals.
Respect cannot be buy it must be earned.

You know the worst part is- Vikas was supposedly protecting priyank and playing with him. And yet when the guy was in tears yelling on top of his lungs that arshi called him gay he just stood there with finger on his lips, with a expression like 'kya pagal log hai.' same vikas who was 'tortured' by shilpa is suddenly so chummy with them that he forgot his so called friend whom he's apprently protecting. Game my foot. Vikas get off your high horse that you think eveyrone in this house is pagal and unable to see your grand vision. He altered his game understanding BB is highly biased toward two women but what's the point if you lose relationships which you had prior to this show? Won't this hurt?

The ladies are getting away with lot of shit just cause they are 'entertaining' whereas Hina gets so much hate, why? Cause she is classicist. are not we all? How many of us IRL will treat a women like arshi with respect who's mannerisms are so vile and crude? At one side people encourage these things cause entertaintment and yet they expect some moral higher ground from another participant, double standards much?

Sorry for going out of topic but could not control😆

They were reprimanded for that honestly, and yes, I agree it was very wrong of them, bringing up the casting couch and all. But my point is, why should Priyank react the way he is reacting? Just because the other side wronged him, he should also stoop to the same level as them, in fact lower? He could have carried himself with dignity but he kept on falling and falling, and right now he is in a dungeon from where it is not easy for him to get out. The difference between Arshi and him is, she improved her game, and tried to improve her language, and also forgave, even after so many personal comments were passed for her, she forgave when he tried to apologize, while Priyank, he was swallowed by his anger, and his game got dirtier everytime he tried to play.

Kudos to a well written and rational post! You're absolutely right. I may get reported for this reply, but I am going to go ahead with it.

I prefer the term humanist, rather than feminist, because it captures the notion that all human beings, regardless of race, ag, colour, gender and sexual orientation, are equal. The very fact that someone uses being gay and being old in an angry tone to convey their anger towards individuals show that these terms have a negative connotation attached to them, which shouldn't be the case. Honestly I hate the way the term aurat ki izzat is thrown around in the house. Because Arshi doesn't deserve respect because she is a woman. She deserves respect because she is a human being. And this notion of respect is equally applicable to everyone.

Honestly, to give a specific example, I was very uncomfortable about the way Arshi spread butter on Hiten's body. I know Hiten didn't protest. But in my opinion, if a girl like Lucinda had been in Hiten's position, and Akash had done something like it, there would have been an uproar about the issue, even if Lucinda had consented. So why is it allowed for Arshi, and not for Akash? Is it because we are naturally mor attuned to issues faced by women?

Everyone in the house has thrown vile insults against one another. Be it Hina, Arshi or Shilpa. I haven't seen Vikas do it, but someone please enlighten me if I am wrong. Priyank has said a lot of vile things to Arshi. But Arshi has said a lot of things to Priyank as well. This is why I won't support one over the other, because they are both wrong.

And one more thing, in the blind hatred/like for one contestant, we should not be blind to her/his/others' faults. Even though I am a Hina fan, I think her accusation on Vikas was not in good taste. Even as her fan, it is important to recognize her flaws and decide whether they are things we can accept. Because certain flaws are acceptable, and some are not. And it's important to do so, because standing up for what is right should always rise above our personal dislikes and likes towards individuals in an inconsequential game.

Just my two cents, I hope I haven't offended anyone.

I hope everyone on this forum gets to read this at least once. Awesome. 👏

Whatever Shilpa.Arshi have commented about Priyank , they have commented in the past.Yes , they were wrong. And they would have remained wrong , if the "classy" people had not stooped to the same level , if not more , in trying to gain the upper hand,
Arshi and shilpa have said and done many wrong things , but they have risen above their mistakes. If they have negatives, their positives have now started overpowering their negatives.
Priyank , on the other hand is another story. As soon as he re entered , he has totally lost the plot.He went out , saw the public reactions , and assumed that the reactions will remain constant throughout. And in doing that , he has totally ruined his game , his image. He doesnt have the quality to forgive or forget , to move on.He only has venom , and is spitting the same.
Because of the same , Arshi has gained an upper hand on him .
like they say , is ghar me hero se zero banne me zyada time ni banta. Sadly , Priyank is totally going towards the zero mode , and Arshi towards the hero mode.Surprising , but true.

Yes women under the guise of equality receive special privileges but I do not think that is what is happening in the show at the moment.

The show is about progression. Shilpa,Vikas,Arshi for that matter each and every one of them have abused and disrespected each other but with time have brought a change in their behaviour.

This is missing in case of Priyank and Hina and hence they are being bashed above all.

Hey no i am nowhere criticizing your opinion , just stating mine 😊
Ofcourse there is no scale to measure positives or negatives , its the public which gets to decide , just as you and me .
