I have seen this topic or rather heard people screaming about it on Bigg Boss, Respect of women is important... So is respect of men... You know as a woman when I am calling for equality, I do mean "equality", I don't mean selective privileges suggesting I am weak or can't earn something that I want... In school my teacher told me that respect is earned not begged... If someone respects me I will return the favor or if I see someone doing something that's worth respecting I will respect them... I am not going to respect someone because it's a woman... That's Sexism.. Not feminism..
Since week one when exactly has Arshi or Shilpa respected Priyank... I have seen them making remarks on his sexuality, his body, his face, I have seen them calling him Hina's dog or a bouncer... Why exactly should he respect them? I have not seen Arshi and Shilpa doing something which is worth respecting, what I have seen is that they have a pretty sick mentality against Parsi, LGBT communities and Black race... I don't respect them, I am not going to expect Priyank to respect them when he has been at the receiving end of their homophobic remarks...

That being said I would have respected Priyank, had he shown that he can rise above everything and has a moral conduct, which he does not... He chose to fight them on their level... But those two women majored in that particular level so they are beating him with experience...

I think Priyank has a lot of problems including homophobia. There is no way he can be defended. But others especially the women in the house get away with a lot just because they are women which I stronlgly object to. This is the reason I try very hard not to discuss social causes here. The conviction is unfairly skewed to women and this is coming from a self proclaimed feminist.

It's actually bad that they use woman card to get away from the things that they do and say... Sending out a wrong image of women in areas of Indian which are prominent in chauvinistic male... Who look for a change to put women down...

I have tried disliking Priyank, but somehow I am failing.. When I see people saying that he is disrespectful towards women... I don't think he is disrespectful towards women.. He doesn't respect people who have made a permanent damage to his career outside this house... Being homosexual or Bisexual is his choice but suggesting that he sleeps with people for work is surely damaging... When I sympathized with Shilpa when she claimed that Vikas destroyed her life... I am feeling same for Priyank..

Exactly from time he is inside the house people have spoken about his sexuality, relationship with vikas and sabya . For how long can he keep quiet and keep respecting these women for himself not being wrong at all. I dont understand public reactions are unfair with both hina and priyank.
They speak about his looks saying surat nahi sirat honi chahiye and other side they speak about hinas looks surat

I do see your point. The attacks came onto him unprovoked only because he was friends with Vikas. The allegations of sleeping around for roles are also vile and disgusting. I would have sympathy for him too but when he came back he made friends with all the people who wronged him and wanted to start afresh. Later he could not stick to his words and that painted him badly. Also bringing up outside info on Arshi was a major blunder on his part. Just like you said, he failed to rise above all and make a positive impact rather he chose to be petty and narrow minded.
The audience also expects special treatment for women and therefore the injustice done to him has never even been considered by the host.

Exactly, thats why i say a little knowledge is very dangerous. People dont understand what feminism is and they go around preaching/practicing with half knowledge. Well Said. Just because a woman cries does not mean society needs to always point at men. I have been trying to say that million times here and Im glad you brought this up. Thank you so much and this is coming from a woman.

Lady card has become fashion these days. Everyone preach about equality of lady but dont practice in reality. Reaction on social media proves that situation of female not gonna improve in india because of such victim cards. Its not just BB or Arshi thing but even in reality females loves to do that and social media declare men criminal without even going into the details of the case.

It's scary. People nowadays have a very herd mentality and do not think outside of the box. I wish people did not misuse their privilege like this.

Well one can be friends with black people and still be racist.

He is perhaps not a major homophobe but he is certainly not absolutely okay with it too. That is my perception of him.
