It's strange isn't it, despite working in po*n Sunny is so well respected by both the industry and audiences (even in the west I've never seen a po*nstar make it to hollywood).
But the same country hates Arshi for wearing nighties? Is it because Sunny is fair skinned, higher class and has a western background that she gets a pass. If she is allowed to be herself why not Arshi?

Hina comments Arshi ko 'kapre paar ke kaam milega', would she ever utter these same words to Sunny who has always been proud of her past career.

Just food for thought, what do you guys think?

Yes exactly this is reason. Yet Sunny has not become a reputable actor as such, she just gets those item songs right. Arshi can do good item songs too I suppose, but in Bhojpuri industry I assume, so that industry will respect her too.

Secondly Sunny has faced her fair share of criticism while reaching where she has.

It is not the dressing style. Its the way you conduct yourself. Thats the big difference between Arshi and Sunny

Arshi is expressing her sexuality through her nakras and dress the same way Sunny does through her po*nography and item songs. There is no big difference in this regard.

I understand Sunny was more professional and private than Arshi during her time in Bigg Boss, but that's not the point i'm making. Criticisms to her nighties, flirtation, fatwas etc is unfair.

By no means do I want to undermine Sunny or her career, I think she's an exceptionally hard worker. But i'm sorry if you've managed to get an item song alongside SRK in a mainstream hindi film, get paid crores for dancing at events and host a show on MTV - she has seen far more support and acceptance - that too from men.

That's why i'm confused why these same men who watch and support Sunny (films or po*nography) turn around and s**t shame Arshi. I hope you're right about Arshi getting work post bigg boss, she belongs on TV!

Even Sunny faced lot of hurdles.. I remember once when she was just new to Bollywood and she performed on stage, all the A list actors in the audience were laughing away sarcastically and some gossiping with hands on theor mouth .. this happened on National television live in a awards show.. She was outcasted by all.. But she came up with sheer hardwork.. by next year no one was laughing at her they were respecting her.. So it didn't come to her easily..

The only issue I see there is that Sunny undoubtedly is pretty and Bhatt camp saw that beauty and channeled it in the right direction. So I think perhaps it's not really Arshi's comments or Sunny's history in working in a particular industry, it is rather acceptance of a face within the industry.

Not everyone gets work after BB, not everyone gets lucky support or push towards a launch. Sunny got one, she did good for herself. So I don't really believe it is based on any one factor, just that some people have the tendency to be a star, whether tv or big screen, some cannot, no matter how big of a push they get.

Even Salman Khan cannot make a star out of someone, and the proof is many celebs he has launched, some have worked, while some havnt. It is the public that decides more than often
