Why dislike science mumbo jumbo in IPK3 but love'em in Flash, MacGyver

That's a very unfair comparison to make. Flash is named as Flash ...Not "love in the time of disaster" ... It's called genre ... Now if you want to mix up the genre( which by now we have a romance revenge religious social issue dram already) ... You should stick to real science... Not science fiction ... Flash is a sci fi superhero series and it always was... And even there he took his long time to get his speed and was first of all struck by lightening... Now don't ask if that gives super power... But that is what the writers want us to accept at the premises ...

Here there is no explanation to why Advays is able to do all the weird stuffs in name of science... Are you telling that he got superpowers? Well then ppl who were glad that Advay praying to lord for Shiva would have been so superstitious should be really upset... Coz now you have a superhero with not explanation for his superpowers...Even a made up one...

Each of us has our own standards of tolerating nonsense...A lot of us had it low and hence a lot of questions on scientific mumbo jumbo... When show was doing a lot better last week there was very less negative post... Then again all this awful pseudo science things came in and ppl are back to being irritated...

Totally appreciate the efforts done by who ever made the thread. But really none of this was anything new that ppl here didnt know. No one is questioning the science behind this.

I am an engineer with a masters degree in a cutting edge technology company. For any pure science to be used for a practical purpose you need to work on out. Thats were technology meets science. So what ever show showed are all good in paper...as in white papers. But for a single human to convert that pure science to rain at the click of a few mouse button...creating a magnetic field that powerful needs charge at very high range. No one is question Maxwells equation, not the least an electronics engineer in me. After reading the post I am inclined to think that it is the absolute disregard for the complexity and feasibility of using such theories for the purpose in the show that might have pissed me off . For ppl who went online and googled the theory without ever understanding the implication, this might sound enough. But there are two set of ppl disapproving. One the likes of me who are finding this ridiculous abuse of science and second who are not patient enough to google, and show didnt offer any sane explanation to make them understand.

And for arguments sake even if we assume Advay is so resourceful to pull of all this by himself, show is absolute failure in convincing the audience of his capabilities and where his support came from. This lack of attention to not just fine details but any sort of details is what make this show different from Flash or Arrow or even our desi mythologies.

Like Anu mentioned in some post, if they had shown Advay a maths wiz who could crack a code or build a bomb with a timer or hi-tech hacker with this brilliant brain, yes that's possible. But even there the viewers should be made aware of how he did that so that we can get on board with him in his plan. Right now he seems to be able to control just about anything from climate to animals to people...

Anyways deeps... to each our own. I am not one to blindly hate this show and was a lot revealed when last week they turned focus to Advini interactions... its personal choice to turn a blind eye on all this and focus on what makes you happy or to express disappointment over lack of credible creativity ...

They are not showing science-fiction but science-fact.

Everything that Advay has used has a sound scientific basis, the logistics they are taking some creative liberties with but then all fictional shows do that.

James Bond is no super hero but just a man on a mission and we (his fans) love him for his use of gadgets, some of which don't even have a scientific basis. I have no problem doing the same for ASR. I want to be entertained and Advay is doing that in so many different ways, using science is just one of them.

The use of science is not just creating so much discussion online but is also making memorable moments for the viewers - I don't think anyone is going to forget how Advay stopped the roka ceremony or opening of the temple doors anytime soon.

Who knows may be it will even inspire kids to take an interest in science and study it.
